  • Holy fuck I love Flood of Red. When I'm not listening to it, it's playing in my head.

  • fucking amazing

  • i wish this made me trip like Circa Survive does, but i thoroughly enjoy this.

  • man i saw this song live and it was way better

  • So whiny...ugh.

  • so fucking good

  • I think this band are stronger now than they have ever been....played gigs with them, seen them whatever in the last fuck knows how many years. Now they are a band that take their sound more seriously than playing songs that sound like Underoath.

Way better than they have ever been, so everyone here can just shut the FUCK - UP.

  • Ive gigged with them ;) they were ace, was good feeling playing with good headliners

  • I met the guitarist in the Apple store :-)

he showed us the band! :P

  • liked this band when they had that old name. was something to do with pandas...

met them all in newcastle about 5 years ago. really nice lads. making even better music now. hope they make it. they have worked hard for it. good luck boys

  • Bring back Dont Sleep Swim. that stuff was amazing, this stuff is no where near as good. Sell out.

  • @doogle2612 who determines whether a band sells out or not? do u?

  • @thejwjerry It's called an opinion :)

  • @doogle2612 You're a complete idiot if you think that's a sell out. Selling out involves changing for money.

  • good singing jordan

  • seen them twice and it still shocks me how much the lead singer looks like lionel messi

  • @j0shuuua lol there's a resemblance, but not a huge one

  • David Sent me :P

  • i was born in 1997! yay me!:)

  • @SilentSarahxoxo Holy fuck I'm old...

  • @DonnerPartyBBQ haha how come?:L

  • @SilentSarahxoxo i was born in 1989 so im like 8 years older then you...when i graduated highschool you were in the 4th grade haha and now people your age are starting to listen to the bands that i listen to and its just weird lol

  • @DonnerPartyBBQ haha I kinda grew up listening to stuff like this xD and I only heard of this band cause my gran knows Callums mum ,yay me :L

  • @SilentSarahxoxo im jordans cousin

  • @TheMovieguy19 howdy :L

  • Nietzsche reference. Nice one boys ;).

  • I saw them live and they were awesome but I wasn't really into the indie scene I was just there to see metal but this music has grown on me and now this song is stuck in my head but I stood outside with the drummer and bassist I think and I was right infront of the vocalist and I didn't say hi or anything cuz I wasn't really interested in them wish I had though :(

  • Flood of Red will be performing in Birmingham at the LG Arena on Sunday 10th April, as part of the Live and Unsigned Tour!!!. Get your tickets from the Live and Unsigned website now for just £7.50!

  • these guys are really good, saw them last weekend in sheffield.

  • supporting these guys on thursday night :P can't wait

  • i have seen them 5 times, and each time has been amazing. haters gonna hate.

  • 33,275 views, thats ridiculous, it should be sooooooooo much more, amazing band

  • can't believe my band could have supported these :(

  • The instruments drown out the singer live.

  • @adnrkf5a You mean just like with most bands that want to be OMG WERE HEAVY ROCK yet play in places too small for their amps? Yeah. They need to get a lesson in live sound

  • @adnrkf5a haters gonna hate.

  • I really like the acoustic version of this song more.

His voice just sounds so much more sincere, and the lyrics fit with acoustic better.

    Love the song. <3

  • love them.

  • I have those vans on my feet, right now.

  • Fucking hell, this deserves SO many more views!! such a stunning song, and such an awesome band.

  • I just remembered this band! Bought their EP years ago, glad to see they're still about! :D

  • just saw em, amazing

  • @xXJojoXx60 in kamen? they really killed it, awesome band.

  • WOW.

  • going to see these on saturdayyyyy :D:D:D:D:D

  • sounds like craig owens except not quite as good. still love this band. one of my favorites

  • When I saw them at a small festival back in July it had been raining all day and this song was just so great, the bit close to the end where it is just him singing was so powerful.

  • Thanx RS for making me an addict. (:

  • @LizzIsNinjaDinosaur thats how i found them too!!

  • Incredible Band...

  • I like his accent. not in some gay way but I just think it really helps add to their unique sound

  • final silence r supportin them at mfest on sunday!!! yassss cant wait.

  • seen these live ive met them to i like em :D x

  • they played this song yesterday, and although it sounds a bit bland recorded, it was the best of their set and everyone there appreciated it

  • saw them live they were shite.. voldemort got fairly into it though:D that was cool

  • @rednutt69 i saw them saturday night..i thought they were pretty good

  • @solz101 i saw them friday night in sydney, they were sooo awesome. hadnt heard of them before now reallly like them

  • @Entertimkari lol yer..they did this song called electricity or something, i cant find a studio version of it :(

  • @solz101 Hey man. Electricity is the intro song. It use to be a song. If you search youtube you will find them playing a song under that name that sounds similar. But on the album they made that an intro, to the song which is now called " i will not change" x

  • @rerush arrr thank you so much lol

  • @rednutt69 Are You Serious? They Are Amazing Live...

  • @AtlasShim agreed saw them yesteday they where awesome!

  • @AtlasShim They failed when they played at Amity

  • @AtlasShim fuck yes they are

  • @AtlasShim i agree with you, they are the only band i have seen live that in the middle of their song they all start playing the snare drum at the same time and thats everyone in the band.

  • @AtlasShim First I heard of them was live, mindblowing.

  • @AtlasShim I FUCKING AGREE,seen them live twice.ONCE with wato, amity affliction and allforgotten and their headling show aswll.

  • @AtlasShim word.

  • Good song.

    Where can i download it?

  • jordan says the new stuff hes writing is alot more darker but just as loud! cant wait to see what they pull out of the bag for the next album!

  • I met Calum on Saturday, he was handing out the leaflets for ReWired. Good to see they're self-promoting. It's an inspiration when a band gets off their arse and does things the old-fashioned way.

  • @nucularboomb thats the way they've always dun it, the best way in my eyes, fell like u get more out of it

  • Comment removed

  • there not from glasgow there from airdrie,

  • What is he saying in the chorus? "I am the black clouds over...." It sounds like Arrows, lyrics online say it's Us but that does't seem to fit at all. anyone know?

  • @John0of0the0jungle

"The rain will never stop for me, it's another wet day again, it's another wet day again, oh. I am the black clouds over our roads, dark city it'll never pass, dark city it'll never pass."

He just has such a broad scottish accent it doesn't really sound as if he's actually saying "city" because he doesn't pronounce the 'T'

  • @UnderHerUmbrella Im a scot lol i've a broader accent than him i reckon, just hard to tell what any singers are saying sometimes.

  • One of the best bands to ever come out of Scotland.

    This makes me so proud!

  • @xxsk83rxx13 I'm pretty sure this music kicks ass. Scottish indie is pretty fucking sweet as far as I'm concerned. If these guys aren't your cup of tea, try Galleries. They're from Glasgow.

  • AMAAAZZZING <3

  • good to see lads from Airdrie doing something with themselves rather than sit about on the bru .well done lads.

  • <3333!!

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • calums the best haha joka, he so down 2 earth:P

  • @xxsk83rxx13 yeah you think that then...

  • @xxsk83rxx13 they're more ambient than circa

  • for all the haters, everyone changes for get a life... fucking idiots man, you don't like it we clearly don't need to know what you think, just pass on obnoxious cunts. I like this and seeing i live where they come from i give them all my support.

  • theyre not wannabe's, theyve made it after all.

  • this band is so much better than circa survive.

  • A lot of people told me they sound like Circa, I think they sound a lot more like Buried in Vegas (there's 2 Buried in Vegas, one is hardcore one and one is more like this)

  • it has 2 be says all there shit is sooooo FUKIN awesome FLOOD OF RED ar so epic all there shit is grrrrr8 FLOOD FTW

MON THE FLOOD jordon ur awesome

  • Yeah man. He has "on letting go" tattooed on his chest haha

  • It has to be said. Their old stuff is so much better.

  • just different thats all

  • main stream.

  • naw

  • i agree, it was much better :/ but their new stuffs all right, its more calm music now.

  • kick ass man

  • I'm pretty sure 2:25 on holds the key to the universe

  • nicely put

  • bah

    these guys are just good

and this is a great way to pass the time until circa's new album

  • fucking tune:)

jordans the big bruva wooooop ;)

    legends!

  • i know this band, one of the members dads is good friends with my dad ;D.

  • same. my dad knows dale's dad.

thats how i got their album :)

its like the 6th album that was made :D

  • awesome

  • i miss his scream.

  • amazing.

anyone know what Jordans chest peice says?

    '(something) letting go'

  • On Letting Go

    after the circa survive album

  • "On Letting Go'". In reference to the Circa Survive album i'm going to guess

  • yeah, they've become very similar to Circa since thier EP

  • Not necesarily a bad thing, Circa Survive are awesome. Besides, there aren't many bands going around that have the same ambience Circa Survive too, just because Flood of Red have a similar sound people are under the impression they are copying them, heck i'd love to start a band that sounded like Circa Survive lol.

  • There can only be one Crirca Survive.

    End of.

  • That's a fairly stubborn comment to make.

  • true though :)

  • As far as music totally ya. Green's voice cannot be duplicated though.

  • on letting go ?

whats that suposed to mean ha haa

  • same! they really got the cowd goin.

  • Saw these last night with we are the ocean, they were epic

  • I was there with septicheart2009 in Newport, they were awesome!

  • saw these guys last night supporting we are the ocean they were awsome

  • I love Flood Of Red <3

Seeing them 5 times in one year by the end of December :D

  • wt happened to the screams n stuff man dont sound the same

  • Love This Song, Been My Fav Ever Since I Seen It On Scuzz Ages Ago :)

    <3FloodOfRed<3

  • Amazing band, song I've been waiting for this album since forever ago and am so glad it's available. The album is amazing.

  • these guys are cool. saw them a few times (:

  • i like their new direction. they seem like they found their sound.

  • i think they've found circa survive's sound, as opposed to their own.

  • Its a good song, but to say its the best song written by a Scottish band is just absurd when you have other large bands like Biffy Clyro and Idlewild still going strong and have written some incredible songs over the years. FOR still need to make a rael name for themselves before they are even considered in the same breath as the two aformentioned bands...this is not a diss, these guys are good, but they have a long career ahead of them still.

  • Biffy Clyro are just awful and Idlewild, whilst good, can be a little boring at times.

There's a lot of great Scottish bands like Mogwai over the years, but, for my money, this is perfect.

  • biffy clyro are fuckin heroic and marmadukeduke might b the same guys but thier awesome too

  • I've known these boys for years, and to see a band come so far, in terms of success, is awesome, but to see how far they have come in terms of songwriting, its phenomenal.

This is without a doubt, the BEST song ever written by a Scottish band.

  • mate i like FOR aswell, far better than they were years ago, jordan especially, what an improved singer, and ur right the songs are well better

but you couldn't put them near early idlewild, or 100 broken windows to be more specific

  • i never new these guys were from airdrie which is like near where i live and no good bands (except biffy clyro) have ever come from round about here! so woop woop!!

  • Simple Minds are one of the best bands ever to come out of Scotland , a origional Simple Minds band member came from Airdrie , base i think ..and to say this is the best song from Scotland is a bit premature , but guys i like this song , so keep it coming , and come and play in the north of sweden ,where i now live , they will like it here ...Boden Alive 2010 .. first weekend after midsummer is your best shot at a big crowd

  • Simple Minds are ok, they're all good Celtic fans, but I'm not that keen on their music.

  • i have to agree with littlebigsteve on the simple minds thing but in terms of modern bands as in right now and not yer glasgow shite then there ain't much

  • av met the lead singer :) flood are not bad

  • fuking amense band!!! brill live :D

wat a laff these guys ar

see uz in the catty soon guys get a bevvy going on :D

  • they have improved hugely from their EP .

they sound different from the rest of the pack now he sings so much better than he screams.

    quality.

  • amazing band. anyone know what kit the drummer uses?

  • there mostly 22 now so its no suprise they haved matured

jordans songritin has gotten so much better with the change

the instrumentals are class as always!

  • Comment removed

  • Went to these guys satrday night at the basement (notts) an they were class, couldnt meet a nicer band, as they didnt fuck off back stage after the gig they came straight into the crowd to chat, take pics, sign shit ect , and I dont see that happen too often so I appreciate muchly, 3rd time ive seen em an they never disapoint, keep up the good work lads!

    Great track.

  • I really wanted to see them at that gig! but i was in York playing with my band. next time :)

  • So what happened to the screaming?

  • it's gone, i met jordan on the train a while back and asked him he said they were aiming for a more matured sound

  • I appreciate that very much. I like when bands aim for that more mature sound. :)

    Thanks for the info.

  • its a shame its gone tbf..

woulda sounded realy good over the instrumental at the end of the buildup.. kinda feels like somthings missing..

though fair does to them.. just as epic as ever

  • It does feel a little bit empty with out the screaming, i agree about the intro... but I prefer it altogether without the screaming :)

  • great song but it seems to build up, like their other songs, except this time, nothing happens.

  • False. The slowdown at 2:50 that explodes into the variation of the chorus is absolutely phenomenal.

    Such a flawless song

  • amazing

  • AWESUM!

  • fuckin amazing

  • such a good song man......cant wait till their album is in stores:)

  • Love this song!!
