  • please ckeck ma

  • Asians get better as the game goes on.

  • Nice Match i think that Timo Boll Could win if he continue with the level of the beggining

  • Timo outplayed Wang Hao in the second and third set. Timo must do a lot of counter attack like in the second and third not just blocking like in the other set. I think Timo's fast drive and smash are very effective unlike the spinny loop which is not effective at all.

  • samsonovs chirpsing

  • I honestly thought that Timo Boll was going to win

  • In the rally at 6:00 you can see just how much spin they're putting on the ball -- several shots get enough hang time to really curve.

  • Why is everybody laughing?

  • Wont timo beat wang hao in his entire life?

it appears to be a big no

  • @TheDonColombo Timo beat him once, actually. Lost 5 though.

  • Best finish ever!

  • TheDouglasificatoin is absolutely correct Timo Boll lost his aggressiveness thats why he lost, nice match but Wang Hao too played very well. Nice match!

    Go Timo!

  • @amazonforest789 totally wrong. that is not how this works at all...

  • machael maze dress like a geek

  • who hates the commentator?

  • Reverse Penhold Backhand is Awesome!!!

  • Wang Hao's backhand is awesome!!

  • let's go classics ...stupid caneteiros!!

  • It's tough being Timo Boll. On a excellent day, he can probably beat 3 Chinese players, but never all 6 (W. Hao, W. Liqin, Ma Long, Zhang Jike, Ma Lin, Xu Xun). Unlike Waldner before him, he can never really give the Chinese a headache as they are too many Kong & Liu in this generation of Chinese players. Waldner used to dominate b/c he only had 2 great Chinese to beat. Now there are 6 of equal talents. Plus, Boll isn't nearly as good as Waldner was, but the Chinese are better than before.

  • lol germ should won it

  • what is Timo doing with the ball at 6:19 ? :D

  • Give it 5 years, and then watch liam pitchford, he will be one of the best in the world

  • 1:35 was insane

  • penhold should be made an illegal grip ..... well atleast rpb shud b :/

  • damn people, shut the fuck up when they are playing!

  • Wang hao é o melhor

  • the floor color is WILD

  • Why everybody is laughing?

  • wang hao is back at number one. may 8 2011.

  • JEEZ! Wang's RPB is awesome!

  • a China é foda no Tênis De Mesa não tem pra ninguém

    (By:Luhh Tavares)(Brasil)

  • Wang Hao had luck....normally Boll would destroy him!!

  • @MetalFTW95 LOL, Boll is owned almost everytime when facing Wang Hao

  • i try to learn WH's RPB

but it hurts my index finger alot

  • Wang Hao looks so sharp!!!

  • Like an actor WH need an audience. Active audience - exiting performance.

  • dissapointed that timo could not pull this one off as in last vw cup......wang raised his level in the last three sets......any ways timo played well....

  • I love Wang Hao's shoes!

  • Very good vid. thanks!! XDD I think in the first 3 sets Timo Boll played at his own, or normal way of playing table tennis, and Wang Hao could just answer his good attacks in the 1st set. At the last three sets, he play too near to the table and was to fearfully, so wang hao could play on his own way. And you can see, that he gives up the game at 6:20 , because he just looks down, and haven't god his self-assurance he have to work at this, and he will be the next wttc champion!

    Are you german??

  • I hate they way Wang Hao plays, i think is one of the worst defender players, but he is one of the best

  • great match......wang hao nice very nice player

  • great match......

  • great match

  • This isn´t the vw cup 2011..I saw it,and the final was timo ball against Ma lin.But this is a great match.Beautiful backhands from wang hao.

  • epic

  • Timo woke up Wang Hao's RPB in the 4th game. Looks like WH's RPB has mental impact to the opponent. Timo's last 2 set has totally different games.

  • wang hao is just getting better and better in his RPB. Miss rate = 30%

  • Boll played well, a few mistakes here and there at crucial times, but that was more a result of the pressure he was under. Boll is one of my favourite players along with Zhang Jike. Wang Hao was simply outstanding in this match. Some of the angles on his returns were unbelievable, perceived incredibly quickly by Hao. It doesn't get much better than this.

  • Great! A top class match from two top class athletes! Wang Hao wins yet again, but now we see that Timo can keep the pressure up :) Can't wait till the World Championships later this year!!!

  • the one who didn't like this movie is Timo Boll haha

  • @theclgy2001 lame

  • I guess I will be one of few having the following opinion:

In my point of view Boll is currently in the best shape of his career and, too, he was at 100% in this match. Watch how fast his reaction, his footwork, his strokes are. I think he had never played that fast before.

However, Wang Hao was too good. He played even faster. I mean: Did you sometimes also wonder "F**k, where is the ball?!?!" :D:D

Timo Boll will have good chances to place very well in Rotterdam, requiring he can maintain his

  • @kopfohnehirn youre right but wang hao got some more net/edge....and the miss server in last set was rly fail from boll so with little bit more luck boll can win this too....

du hast recht aber wang hao hatte nen bissl mehr glück....und der verkackte aufschlag im letzten satz war total naja.... mit nem bissl mehr glück würde boll des gewiinnen...:D

  • astonishing level from both players !

  • Timo wasn't at 100%, that's why he lost! I think Boll should have keep to Hao backhand and stayed way from his forehand, because Wang a penholder! Another win for China!

  • in two sets timo won, his bh was more active with counter loop.. then he started blocking again and running around with the fh..

also he had difficulty with wang hao short fh service..

  • wang hao is a BEAST!!

  • Other CNT member go to training in Ha Mun sth.

  • Zhou Yu may act as the training partner of WH..

  • That last point was epic. Great stuff.

  • It may be just me, but it seems that the 2 sets that Boll won, he played a different game and then went back to his normal game for the rest of the match.

  • @LightSpeed99999 yes, totally, especially the 3rd set - boll was brutalizing wang hao, maybe it's just a preview of his play for wttc 2011 - if he can play like that chinese wall will fall

  • @TheSuperStarBuck I hope it was indeed a test run of styles to use then. It'll serve him well.

  • Wow. Wang Hao is back in Style. Damn cool RPB.

  • the gravity of the game feels different with that mat color.

  • @UserName11374

Ok, enough with the hate dude. You even brought politics into it.

  • @UserName11374 i actually find this very true

  • Wang Hao's RPB is just INSANE.

  • @Irfan87 what's RPB?

  • @markchanggz

    Reverse Penhold Backhand.

  • @Irfan87 Got it. I'm very bad at it. It's hard.

  • @markchanggz

I know this is cliche, but you just gotta practice. It really isn't as hard as you think it is trust me. In certain aspects, its a better and easier backhand shot than a Shakehand backhand. Watch more vids and read up on RPB. Most Penholders these days are adding it to their repertoire. Its fast becoming a must for a Penholder.

  • @Irfan87 yeah normally i play shakehand but i try penhold sometimes. man, the RPB is not easy to get down. its so easy to make the ball fly up high.

  • Wow, thought Timo had the game for a moment, but he lost his aggressiveness.

    Great play by both

  • where`s fatty hao???

  • @TheMikeBoarder

    John Burgess

  • Wow, we have a bunch of highly difficult to satisfy audience here. You guys give really tough critics.

  • I hate Wang Hao. Boll and Ma Lond are the best!

  • i like very much, that timo tried to make his shots as hard as possible.

  • we like it. wee like iit !!!! xD

  • amazing points!

  • is that Samonov's wife at 1:07?

  • @braveheartforever123 shen yanfei, spain team, she lost to li xiaoxia in this tournament.

  • @braveheartforever123

    No, she isn´t

  • this commentator is fuc... disaster

  • @lopezrodriquez

    No, thats not his wife!

  • Timo's awesome footwork !!

  • lol michael maze in the vid...he looks horrible, he has some weird hobo clothes on and a tatoo, whats wrong with him?

  • wow, great match, timo has gotten faster i think, am i wrong?

  • 1. 2769 BOLL Timo (GER) 2. 2744 WANG Hao (CHN)

Difference is 25 points... That's not much, but enough for Boll to keep his No.1 position. Losing from Wang Hao cost Timo Boll 7 points... It depends on how many bonus points Wang Hao earns. If its more than 18, Wang Hao would be the new number one for April.

  • A very exciting match, like the semi-final women’s single match -- Li Xiaoxia vs Ai Fukuhara! Wang Hao is highly likely to be in the final of WTTC to defend his men’s single champion title this year. Who will be his opponent is everybody’s guess (e.g. Timo Boll, Zhang Jike, Xu Xin?) Right now, Wang Hao is on the top of the world. No question about it! #LOL

  • @tyoungos at least you gave some respect to Timo. Its nice when you dont go around bashing others

  • lol

  • seriously ppl shudn't care abt who got the no.1 timo or wang hao, doesn't matter

liu guoliang said ma long got no.1 spot in a yr ago means nothing,, juz means the chinese team let him to play more tournaments, he apparently doesn't give a shit

they were sending the players to the last 5 opens, juz so they can line them up in the top 7 8 for olympic picks n stuff, none of them give a shit lol

  • dale wang hao!

  • I was disappointed with Wang's performance in this tournament...until the last three games of this match! He didn't really play that hard to beat Maze and Samsonov, but against Boll he really had to up the ante and the result was some awesome table tennis. Wang Hao has been my favorite player for a while, because of his incredible skill and style, and he really delivered here! I'm hoping Wang Hao takes #1 spot after this win =) Excellent videos btw, THANKS ttprovider.

  • 2:09 Maze seemed at Jeffrey Donovan.

    trueeee

  • keep it up timo at the wttc you might beat them all :D !!

  • timi boll ........jajajaja

  • timo is actually in top form, i thot he got a chance when i was watching live, needa keep the control tight, the returns, but wang hao changed quite a bit, n timo couldn't adaptwell, n back to the loop... timo definitely got some chance in olympics if there are only 2 chinese lol (2 competitors basically)

once wang hao starts looping hard, timo can only block or wait for an error

the commentator is basically bullshit, zero extra information, obviously biased, celebrating timo's net point lol..

  • @perniciousnc did you actually watch the match on ITTV? Commentator seemed to be unbiased to me.

  • Is Wang Hao taking over the no. 1 after this? Right now he seems to be tough to beat.

  • @Merrlol "have a go" doesnt mean they would win. Timo is world number 1 and rightly so, im just saying its not fair the Chinese have so many players, each taking turns to have a go at him. With 7 players each capable of winning the World Championship in their team, of course one of them will eventually knock Timo out. Its not fair IMO

  • Comment removed

  • @Opalance and you're another retard who doesnt understand what "have a go" means

  • @Fakeslimshady Well where I'm from, it means taking turns raping someone.

  • @Opalance where im from, it just means having a try. Never raped anyone, so how am i supposed to know?

Very well, i shall remove the comment to prevent any further misunderstanding

  • really good game, Wang Hao really turned it up in the last two games.

  • thumbs up 3th set 11-3 timo!!

  • Wow, excellent play by Wang Hao. Even coming off a back injury he was able to clinch the win 4-2. He is the most centered PH player, doesn't like to get too far off center from the table and his stroke and technique is different enough to get him some extra points.

  • @gimplar Because TimoB is lefty player, Wang cannot go too left from the center. When playing against right hand players, Wang does position himself a little bit further left. IMHO.

  • Being waiting for so long~

  • After the second game I thought it would be easy for Timo.

  • Boll played beter @ the begin.

  • first :D

  • First!

Jun Mizutani absorbing the attention, and Samsonov talking to a Chinese girl?

    Fantastic video.

  • @PreppyPoser1 Shut up you racist neo-nazi anti-gay hater.

  • @PreppyPoser1 that chinese girl is shen yanfei, representing spain if im not wrong.. :)
