i have just started bitcoin mining but i'am confused, if i start my computer to mine and then turn it off after a few hours will i loose all of the mining i have done from the previous hours and have to start mining again from scratch or will i start off where i left off, would appreciate any help with this thanks.
@DesiRoti no, if you are pool mining you wont loose any progress. If you are solo mining there really isn't such a thing as progress. But don't worry nothing will be lost.

@dannydarias1 well it really varies by what you want, i built mine at the end of last year so prices have changed a bit. If you just go to my website and click on the computer tab, you can see 2 different computers my friend and i built with prices and other info. Just search my username on google, the first link is my site.

I have a 5770 and im about to mine, how many mg/hashs you get? You posted this on my 26 birthday I think this is the best thing to do ever. I want to get a Intel Ivy-bridge quad channel ddr-3 2666 mhz with PCIe 3.0 with a 2x Revo x3's in raid 0 giving me 3GB/s reads from my SSD to the QUAD RAM and ARRAY of TOP GPUS = VR 1080P 120 FPS WET DREAM VR SYSTEM / BITCOIN MINING RIG! @4Th3Truthful with my 5770 overclocked at 950MHz i get 200 MHash/s. i also use the extra flags -v -w128. I run about 58-62 degrees seeing as its now really warm here all the time. And holy cow. Nice, you going to be water-cooling all of that?
@4Th3Truthful now i have had a change to actually look into the level 10. Would you be getting the level 10 or the level 10 gt? Personally i like the GT more for a number of reasons. it seems there are many more features in it plus the lower cost and less weight is very nice. If i get enough bitcoins i will be buying that case. Thanks very much for mentioning it, i would have never found it otherwise.
