Contact Thumb

i recently sprained my thumb in basketball. i want to tape it for my next game. would i use the contact or the non-contact taping?..taking into consideration that i do need my thumb to catch and shoot the ball.

hi, can i use this taping for the chronic de quervain's desease, i was to thinking if it might with my patient who has been having a recurring de quervain's desease due to her work, so if it might help can use this taping for her

Just found out that this person's thumb was sprained not broken and bursed so this could work for him. Thanks for the video.

It would most definitely help, but a tap job should not substitute for proper medical treatment. Do not apply if the area is largely swollen for it may cut off the blood supply. Best used as a rehab treatment
