mine were really tight. lol :] i brushed through it, then it poofed up. i twist it in the direction it goes in, wet my hand a bit and twist it and kind of get the curls looser, then make em' into two pigtails!! i love these rollers! :3

oh my gosh! I have foam rollers like this from when i was 6. my mom used to do my hair all the time. my mom passed away and now i take care of my hair. I saw your video on the heatless DIY curlers. I tried it but It just didn't turn out the way i wanted, soft bouncy curls. my hair WAS really damaged until i got it cut a month ago but the salon cut it too short, so im trying not to use heat to help grow it out...and finally i found a video for foam curlers....AMAZING!!!
