  • did he just pour curry powder on that leech?

  • 2:21... Someones on there period.

  • 1:12 I so want him to be my doctor with a confident smile like that.

  • the question is: is it effective??

  • Having sex is another great cure it makes your hearth pump The blood around faster so it eisend your vains and sends all of it trough the liver fast:p. Ps leeches are reptiles strange i know :D

  • @koen7b reptiles ? lol i thought they were parasites

  • tuhan memang adil...

  • Aids are also passed around easily through these leeches, well done doctor

  • Making the leeches vomit after finishing a meal can keep them alive and well?!?

  • They make them vomit? Do they use the same leech on a different patient? I think that is freaking disgusting. I think they should not use same leech on other patients just like we wouldn't use same needles. That is what i thought was disgusting when they make them vomit. Throw that shit in the garbage and get a new one!!!

  • Fucking disgusting.

  • No. Just No.

  • Its a shame that NationalGeographic spread these kinds of Stupid idea.

  • @alirahimish I am gonna slip a leech in your anus to get that sand out.

  • @DoozyJr What sand you stupid dumb? I hate passive opinions when it came to culture or religion. Its a common problem in many western country. They think somehow its cool or liberal to respect Stupid culture or religions. passive opinions are dangerous in both long and short term.

  • @alirahimish It wasn't a culture or religion joke, sand as in sand outta your vagina. Saying leeches are a stupid idea is also another passive opinion, hypocrisy much?

  • @DoozyJr That leeche suck your brain and shit still remain, Caue you dont know the meaning of passive or hypocrisy.

  • if it works, it works. what's the big deal? having lived in Korea for a long time, i was introduced to all kinds of natural treatments that seemed to provide some relief from various ailments. in this video, it was really interesting to see these leeches expel the blood from their systems after being doused with turmeric. i wonder what it is about turmeric that causes this to happen.

  • If they use same leech with other patients I'm afraid it will transfer deseases

  • Excuse me, what positive results? Do you mean the placebo effect?

  • GORY

  • whoaaaa. the first time they showed the leech with the powder thingy, i thought it was mustard and ketchup

  • atleast the leeches know how to let go when its done

  • 2:25 :D

  • @testiclesism pew

  • mad

  • Wow, it's kinda cool, but gross..

  • Groovy. But if it works for some, so be it.

  • Thats a whole lot of crazy.

  • Any sane Doctor would know that blood CIRCULATES around the body not stay in one place LMAO!

  • Useful and therrifaing x)

  • Eww As cool and awesome as I think this is I just can not see myself doing that unless there was nothing else for me and even then I think I might be a little resistant. But that is our culture right? Raise us from young ignoring natures cures while we choke down our chemicals. . .

  • Leeches only suck your blood not purify it.... Imagine a thief eat all your foods and then clean your dishes..

  • EWWWWWWWWWWW

  • BUT be very careful with these. You can even get cancer if you dont use them right. They have to be clean and only be used once.

  • lol poonay

  • turmeric.. also known as haldi (a spice used in many indian foods)

  • Comment removed

  • Very good, it seems ayurvedic medicine, freak but necessary

  • That makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would leeches develop a way to absorb only the "impure" blood which will then harm them? Idiots.

  • this is a fine example of the placebo effect.

  • sanitation or sanitary = FAIL.

  • ooooooooooh....

  • eeew ew ew ew ewe ewe ew eew ew ew

  • 1:39

so that's where that forehead dot comes from :D

  • wouldnt there be a chance of being infected by someone eles's disease if sanitary procedure wasnt done properly?

  • Nature is always the best medicine. =)

  • ew

  • COOOOOOOOOL! (:

  • @maria82792 lol..that was my exact reaction too. "cool"

  • @obama123456789 hehe, i kind of wanna try it XD

  • why not use a syringe to take out bad blood

  • I thought this is relevant to torrent

  • i have a pet leech on my book shelf. i also have a really rare blood type that he REALLY likes lol

  • I wished their tech support would also have captions like this, it'd be a hell of a help.

  • we need a leeches rights movement up soon... Leeches around the world are being forced into anarexia!

  • @tyber32 anorexia*

  • @falloutmnky Now we need a campaign against gram'er nazis!

    >:O

The time is now, we typos rise and FITE!

  • @tyber32 O U BISH

  • @tyber32

    u mean bulimia?

  • i dont like how the (NEW) comments look

  • i thought they are going to deep fry the leech when it powdered it...

  • Hey! Thats really cool! I mean, the leeches suck your blood and after that, they'll need to vomit! Its really amazing! This traditional way of healing is reall amazing!

  • @yumilovesyou the best traditional was is Hijjama the prophecy way of curing its way cleaner and healthier and saftier

  • Poor leeches. Just saying. I don't wanto live my life sucking things I'll vomit out a moment later and live in a jar.

  • can they spread disease through leeches? i dont know but it is a great idea.

  • Are they real doctors :\

Isn't tumeric powder a great spice?

  • yeah, cures deceases alright... what about transmitting others worse than the ones patiens had??

  • @JudgeMAGiC nature is the cleanist thing on this planet

  • fail new youtube comment layout

  • @Kozmo198 Yeah we've all been hatin on it since it started.

  • In Islamic culture there are " Hijama" which based on sucking of blood with special instruments .. Leech sounds good

  • It is BERY madness..

  • did he say Punan? puhnan,...poonan?

  • i agree with natrual medicnes but prefer the cleanleness of modren medicens there are dangeros leeches though that will drink any type of blood not just bad blood so you need to be carfull

  • im not hungry anymore!

  • Don't leeches just suck blood? Whats good in just draining blood? Or do leeches filter shit?

  • @debit256 It gets fresh blood flowing in areas that it might not be moving through.

  • @debit256 leeches can suck blood closer to the surface of the skin, where the diseases are concentrated. sticking a needle too deep in your arm isn't going to do much. leeches don't really hurt much, they don't typically cause infections, and they can somewhat stop the bleeding.

  • Sometimes its the traditional things that can cure people instead of always resorting to modern medicine. Just like some doctors are using maggots to clean up wounds that contain dead flesh.

  • This is very useful information about leeches.I didn't know they used tunermite powder to make leeches vomit out the infected blood.[I don't know know how to spell turnermite powder]

  • @The03MusicChannel it's turmeric powder =)

  • @The03MusicChannel

    its turmeric

  • @The03MusicChannel Its called tumeric powder

  • Comment removed

  • @The03MusicChannel Me neither :D. Btw, it's called "turmeric (Curcuma longa)" powder :).

  • @The03MusicChannel turmeric powder* :)

  • @The03MusicChannel turmeric i think

  • @The03MusicChannel tumeric

  • @The03MusicChannel tumeric. :D I think.... lol

  • use a different fucking leech everytime :/

  • They don't seem so bad to me.

  • this will spread std for sure

  • Since leaches must reach your blood vessels. They are like injection needles except that they may act as vectors in transmitting pathogens another person.into your blood. They are bad if they are used between many people, especially people you don't know where they're from and raised and what parasites and germs they can infect you with.

  • leeches are fucking cunts just like bedbugs

  • some of those indian girls are semi hot

  • @Meathead36 ewww dude you are sick....

  • 1:14 HOLY SH*T SNIPER! GET DOWN!

  • @moposico

    Hahaha

  • @moposico LOL!!!!!!

  • I'm sure it helps, but ew.

  • Holly shit!! Wait a fucking minute! Surely, there is no point to pour that powder on a leech, make it vomit if you will kill it or will dispose of it afterward. This leads me to believe they reuse the leaches. Now that is unsanitary.

  • @ArtypNk Turmeric is a natural antiseptic. It kills bacteria. That's the powder you saw being sprinkled onto the leeches. It can also be used for certain infections like carbuncles, boils etc. and may also be used as a natural antibiotic.

  • Oh come on! Anyone who played Assassin's Creed 2 or Brotherhood would know leeches were used as cures. The doctors scream they "have fresh cut leeches" when you walk around Renaissance Italy. XD

  • This makes me want a slurpee from 7-11...

  • dr driving across town on a shit rusty old bike without a helmet

    now thats sensible...

    pakis....

  • leeches give us juice when we give them salt, hahaha

  • @PuRPLeTuTa dumbass, your not suppose to give a leech salt, that kills them

  • @meepfeet I always thought that when you give a slug or a snail salt that would kill them. I always get those three mixed up.

  • @meepfeet

omg it's u dumass not me, it's just an inside joke. the thing that comes out from them when they die of salt looks like orange juice. :D

  • omg i am chewing my gum and for a second, i imagined i was chewing a leech

  • No shit doctor kabukistan would say his treatment work, he fucking makes money on it. This is bullshit

  • omg lol vomiting leeches

  • I wonder if leeches could do something for my eczema.

The treatment looks rather soothing and relieving. There was a guy was had his circulation cut off in his arm and all the blood was running into his hand and not leaving. His hand was red and aggravated so they put a leach on there to relieve of the irritation. Saved the guys hand.

  • YOOOO is that the guy from jackass 2?!!

when steve-o puts a leech on his eye lmao

  • OK, wow....

I have few questions that every customers should ask:

    1. Why do leaches take my impure blood? How do they do it, do they filtrate the bad blood ant take only that, or is it just that leech as animal feeds on blood, any blood and you make up the theory?

    2. What sort of toxins does it remove, because I am pretty sure my kidneys work fine, seeing how I'm not dead from my blood toxicity.

    3. Are you really a doctor, or did you just found a weird book about leeches from 1908?

  • @ArtypNk

1.Obviously they just suck the blood from anywhere, they're not that intelligent or evolved ;P and also they put the leech on the infected area so obviously it will suck out the infected blood plus some extra normal blood, but unless you're infected everywhere this shouldn't be a problem.

    2. I don't really understand your question but it just removes the unhealthy stuff that's in the infected blood (plus some normal blood)

    3.I have no idea.

  • Hahaha I laughed so hard xD

    ´´Dr. Satchen Medgar is a man on a mission´´

    *indian guy on a scooter*

  • @TheFunkSyndicate lmao such a badass :D

  • @TheFunkSyndicate

you dont know how smart doctors are in india :) im not indian btw

  • Disgusting! And totally unscientific as well.

  • @flashofpink not neccessarily. Leeches are used in many hospitals to suck poisoined blood in certain cases.

  • @pinoyhellahoy

I know that. I was referring to the way they're using leeches in this particular instance though..

  • Leeches are sexy! Ha! Ha! Mmmm....save some of that leech vomit for me!!

  • or just pop the stinkin zit

  • Leeches arent just used for alternatives to western medicine. thats just fucking retarded. This boy in my old neighborhood in chicago got his ear bitten off by a dog. they used leeches in the surgery to get the blood flow back to the severed peice. Leeches are really good at establishing blood flow again in small cappilllaries and such. Theres plenty of surgerys in the us that use it not as an alternative but as the primary way of surgery for certain cases. Maybe people in india dont be we do!

  • i feel bad for the leeches

  • Oh for fuck sake, why do people still believe in this shit?

  • @ComedyRoundTheCorner have a guess?

  • I'm a Physiology major, and without going into details, I can say leeches can be used effectively in medicine in some circumstances (usually to prevent blood pooling), but the idea that they "suck out toxins" in the blood is ridiculous.

  • @GuppyPal We'd be cured of AIDS if that was the case. -.-

  • This is MADNESS???

  • @luvtwinkie1993 no this is SPAARTAAA!!!

  • O_O

  • So what is the point of using leeches? How is this different from bleeding someone like in the old days?

  • n-n-NASTY

  • Leeches are cute :D

  • This is sexy

  • does it hurt?

  • @attackblow No, they numb the skin before they suck your blood

  • damn gross.

  • @Jusor1234 the hindus or the process..

  • Leeches are cuties!

  • sterile medical leeches are available online to everyone by mail delivery in us.

  • i was fuckin eating when i saw this -.-

  • @AnglesOfDeaD lol

  • @AnglesOfDeaD you should know better than to click the link while eating......

  • @AnglesOfDeaD lol

  • do they use the same leeches to "cure" different patients?!

    This would be realluy mad

  • @youzap777 seems likee it. thats why they make them vomit the impurities.

  • Do they re-use the leeches? Now that's not sterile at all...

It's awesome to use nature to it's full potential like the use maggots to clear off dead skin but at least get it sterile.

  • shit i thought i was the first!

  • In respects to removal of leaches -cause the leech to regurgitate its stomach contents into the wound and quickly detach. However, the vomit may carry disease-wkp

  • Did the leech just vomit blood? I hate it when my mouth has it's period.

  • @budperson hahahahaha
