Which fast-loaders aren't working, are these .d64 or .g64 files working in an emulator - have they been verified to work?
If it's .d64 files from an original disk the copy protection might not have been included in the copy as .d64 files have no information about (intentional) errors.
The 1541U is emulating a 1541 at hardware level and is said to be pretty much like the real thing, which amazes me a bit that a common fastloader wouldn't work.
Allmost all fast loaders work with expection of some rare Rainbow Arts games (Starball or "In 80s days around the world). I couldn't test everything but the emulation is nearly perfect and if any game don't work, there're mostly alternative versions on noname.c64.org available. Many g64 files work as well with the latest firmware 1.7 beta, at least I could test it with Summer Games 2 but it's depending from the copy protection. 1541U work with some more loaders as one some real 1541 II.
OK, but does "Starball" or "In 80s days around the world" work anywhere else - are they confirmed working copies. Do they load in VICE or CCS64 for example?
You should send these to Gideon then at 1541ultimate. net and perhaps he'll find a way to support these as well.
Yes, they work with VICE and CCS64. I already informed Gideon when I found it long time ago but I must confess that I've tested it with the latest firmware. Instead I've download another version wich also worked with the previous firmware. I could test it next time when I've enough time to fish my C64 out of my bed drawer. ;-)
Perhaps you can send the tricky versions along and I'll test them on my 1541U-II, frog at home . se
Would be nice to know if the problem has been solved, but I guess the real test would be transferring them to disks and see if they work on real hardware. It could be that there are errors that the emulation doesn't catch.
I have tested those games with the 1541U-II, and they seem to run just fine. I got them from Gamebase64v07 though. Perhaps you could send me your versions so I could try them as well.

Damn, YouTube is censoring all my replies, I just wanted to ask if you could send me your versions. The ones in Gamebase64v07 worked fine with the 1541U-II.
No, they don't censor anything, I just must activate all entries. I'll send you this versions later if I can find them and if I have enough time...promised! Until there, you could subscribe our channel and I add you to our friend's list. So you don't need to post multiple messages.
