Honestly, I think this looks awesome. I know it's just a pre-rendered cinematic, but the marines look great, aliens look their most devious, and the aesthetic is still there and still looks amazing. I don't like the idea of badass marines, Harrison from AvP2 was a great character

BUT we think that aliens are really powerful against marines but think about it a squad is what 7-12 marines one squad probably kills at least 30 aliens. Sure in the end the aliens win but so many more aliens died just look at the film 'Aliens'.

@TheXbox360 I think it's better if the Marines are weak. It would add to the horror of the game, a group of "weak" Marines against an army of Xenomorphs. It's how James Cameron/Ridley Scott would have wanted it. Marines were too strong in AVP.

The fact that the Marines are depicted as weak and secondary in this trailer for an edition that is supposed to FOCUS on the Marines, makes me hope that the trailer developers were just incompetently taking great liberty in interpreting the game environment.

If the trailer's accurate, then the game will be garbage/irrelevant.

Lunar Industries - Clint Mansell is the song. I thought it was Trent Reznor with the running piano line, it's very familiar to his soundtrack work, but it's Clint Mansell; excellent musician, he also did the soundtrack for black swan.

this trailer may look good, but the gameplay that was shown has left me with doubts, the pulse rifle never had iron sights and its mag capacity only went to 50, not 99. plus the blood spatter effect looked too cartoony and there were a couple of glitches at the end, rent before you buy

@enyaw86 What you have to realize though, is that the game-play footage dated back to September. A year before the game is supposed to come out. A lot can change in a year. And I'm sure the blood splatter effects are going to be more realistic when this game comes out. The glitches will most likely be patched . As for the iron sights and ammo.
