  • you have to put your hdd on master

    thats what happend to me and i changed to master and it worked

    "Remeber NOT MASTER SLAVE" just master

  • you have a crappy video card.

  • if you have PATA hook your hdd and cd to the same ribbon (ide channel 1) be sure to set your cd as slave and hdd as master and then have your bios detect the new settings,and the boot into your media the go into the install using te -v command

  • and cdd are both on ide channel 1, then hsve your bios detect the new configuration, pop in the media and boot into the install just using the -v command and presto! your on your way...

    i write this assuming you have pata, if not the os x86 "developers" are working on more sata drivers so hope this works and good luck it worked for me on my P4 rig and i love it!)

  • if you are running a PATA hdd and not a SATA you can do this,

    take the cd or dvd drive you are using and the hdd you are installing mac on and then plug your cdd into the same ide ribbon as your primary hdd, make sure the hdd is jumped for master and the cdd is jumped for slave,and that the hdd
