We have this exact rendition of Silverado in the Republic Community band in Mo. We are beginning rehearsal now for it... This really helps me hear the correct way to play this & the timing... I'm a French hornist & it is a nice challenge for us...Thanks for up loading this... I can actually play this :D
As a horn player, I ADORE this song. My high school symphonic band is playing this and it's by far one of my all time favorite pieces to play. Challenging: yes, but listening to the end result is totally worth it. :D
I love this song, my high school wind ensemble is going to be playing this. I'm so excited. Unfortunately I play horn...and an octave jump from middle C to high C sounds really difficult. Hopefully I can get one of the solos though.
