Like sum1 said earlier, I am also getting a msg that says a too large msg was blocked. Only, the msg is 115K and in my mms memory status it says:

Usage: 6/100

Used Space: 5 K

Free Space: 130 K

So it seems like it should open.....right? Any suggestions?

The phone has a limit in the size it allows for mms attachments. I don't know what the limit is, but it must be less than 115K. It doesn't matter how much free space you have on the phone, the phone only allows certain size files to be sent/received via mms. There is no way to change that limit (at least, not that I am aware of).

Each phone has a limit as to how big of file (in kb) may be attached to the message. Someone has sent you a picture, video, or whatever that is too big (has too many kilobytes) for your phone to handle.

no, you cannot change the limit. every phone has a limit to how big of file it will allow to be included in a message. some phones have smaller limits, some have bigger limits. the size of the memory card will not matter, unfortunately. sorry.

you can have one or the other...however, please type "why you should not buy a fake iphone" into google and click on the first link that shows up (which is an article on my blog called cellphonemiscellanea). i do NOT recommend these phones and you could get one that wont work in the USA no matter what sim you put in it. i'm not saying DON'T buy one...i'm saying i don't recommend them. i've got some tips in my article, too, if you just want to buy one.

I bought a prepaid t-mobile phone from BestBuy (you can get them at walmart, too) and followed the instructions for activating the prepaid phone. Then I put the sim card that came with the phone in my i9.

I actually don't know too much about t-mobile service however. i bought their sim just to make this video. i usually use an at&t prepaid sim card.

Well, I pay 0.25/min, but that is the plan I chose because I don't use my phone very much. But at&t prepaid has a free m2m plan (1$ daily fee, 0.10/min for non m2m, and free m2m calls), unlimited calling for 3$/day, and unlimited talk and text for 60$/month.

You can get a 100MB data pkg for 19.99 or 1MB for 4.99.

How this compares to t-mobile prepaid, I don't know.

Hi! i just got mine i9 3g 'iphone' and there is many programs that i cant use... dont know why.. it is bought in thailand so there is just english languisch.. but i cant remove the apps that i cant use.. i know how to do in a 'real' iphone you just hold the app down for a few seconds and a (x) pops up in the left corner. but on my 'iphone' it doesnt pop up any (x) in the corner. how do i remove them? plz answer! from a swedish kid :P

Sorry, I tried again. No matter How many time I hit save, it would ignore the command. I got it to save by hitting the shaded out done icon behind the save window. ( My Phone has a newer Firmware so it's a bit different to what you have ).

Everything went fine until the end, after I hit save, there was no back button or anything so I could activate the profile. I pressed the home key and returned and the mms profile wasn't saved. No that I've tried again, it stays stuck when I try to save. In which I can't save.

I only got the GPRS to save but no luck with mms.

i recently bought one, everything works fine except for the sms part. my old fone it would show incoming text n outcoming text if it's from a convo. this sciphone doesn't all it show is incoming text n no outgoing text. how can i get it to show the outgoing text ? i find the only way i can see outgoing text is if i started a sms n save n send it, then it will be on my outgoing box.

Choosing "save n send," as you are already doing, is the only way that I know of.

Does your phone use the 900MHz AND the 1800MHz frequencies? Those are the frequencies used in the UK.

Look at the last page of the user guide. Should have a little block called "technical info" ... look for "bands" which will be given a range, actually.

Post the ranges given here as a reply.

Thanks Awesome you have this. I do have one problem though. When I try to send a pic message it goes to 99% then says resend goes to 99% then says unable to send. It has gotten alot further then where I was when I first got the phone. Any suggestions to fix my problem?

well, you can try clicking on Text > MMS > MMS settings > Filter > Max Size

Not all phones have the max size option under the filter menu -- in fact, my phone does not have that option, but the user manual indicates it's there, so I assume some models DO have the option.

But, most likely, it is not adjustable.
