Britain, don't be suckered into voting a tory Government in again. I was there in 1979, and from then on for many years it was hell, total hell, with them constantly pulling the wool over peoples eyes. I am amazed this country is thinking that way again! But I am thankful now for the communication revolution that we can see though any nonsense like that quicker these days.
Vote for the party of the people, Labour, and you will in no way go wrong.
The Labor Party freed up the constrictive fixed system the rich had in place for centuries: now on to an elected second chamber with either Labor or the Dems. If the Conservatives were in again I imagine they would re-close bars at 11pm and make smoking compulsory everywhere.
Labour Party go for win!You can change the polls! You can change the political correlations!Work for people and not for the private capital! The future of Britain, the future of Europe is the people, not the few capitalists and lobbies.
A Sun poll says the Tories under David Cameron are racing ahead?
A Sun Poll what a load of crap they are at it again, putting an eyecatching story of little substance (children's clothes) on the front page hoping to grab your attention and then hoping you will digest the manipulating political crap within. Don't buy that crap and don't vote Tory.
I want to see some injection in the North this time please Labour. We can really benefit from good solid green publicly owned mass transit to link the towns and cities together. The private railways are a shambles you pay a third of your days wages to get to work and half the time they get you there late. Losing our public infrastructure crippled the country it's time to rebuild it. That would create thousands of skilled jobs and give loads of scope for apprenticeships for kids.
No matter how many times I hear this, I always have tears in my eyes and feel so proud to be British. Labour is the best party and Gordon Brown is one of the best Prime Ministers this country has ever had. I'm only 16, but Labour will have my support for as long as I live!
@Goody2shoesambe Yes this is a good positive campaign...which we need more of. However they only deserves merit, if they could actually afford it. There is this believe that we can Live today at the expense of tomorrow. However I'm a recent graduate...the child of tomorrow. The cycles of spend and austerity only work if they oscillate in controllable magnitudes.
I'm a floating voter and am disgusted by the new TORY election campaign. It might have worked in 1979 with the 'Labour isn't working' ads but it just acts as a reminder of what happened after. From one million to three million unemployed and a doubling in crime. Beggars on the streets riots civil unrest. The selling off of the National interests to the highest bidders the contracting out of services to the lowest. Get rid of these Thaterite policies and start representing ordinary people.
That Labour party, when they took power in 1997 inherited an NHS that was ravaged and destitute at the hands of the tories. People think the NHS is bad now? They should have seen it twenty years ago!
It may actually assist The Labour party if the advocates were able to be more forceful about persuading that the Tories simply stood for Conserving existing priveleges, masked any pretensions to any grip on ethics under such blatantly self-serving avarice.
Leading up to the election, I think Labour must, must tell people what they have achieved, what they will continue to guarantee people - such as continued investment in the NHS, cancer guarantee, help for families etc, and point out what people stand to lose if the Tories are in power and highlight the Tories policies on the economy which will stunt growth.
Labour should go with the slogan 'Don't allow the Tories to ruin the road to recovery'.
I will show it to everyone I come into contact with we cannot let the Tories in again ... they are clueless and self serving we cannot let them in! for the good of your families VOTE LABOUR!!
This video MUST be used in the campaign, just look what Labour has done for our nation, and compare it to what Thatcher did, there is only one choice, vote Labour
You could count on one hand the good things the torys have done for this country! Labour have done more than they could ever hope to do. Yes they dont always get it right but they dam well try hard for this country!
In this key period, when the Economy is struggling to grow, the last thing we need is the Tories mercilessly cutting the things that people need. Cameron had already shown his total lack of substance, even today as I write his party refuses to help decide the future for old people who need care by not attending this meeting. I hope for a Labour victory for the sake of those who need help, for those who do not want charity but power to save their own lives, charity will never work.
Gordon Brown is a sincere man, he wants what is best for our country and for us!
Under his hand this country has come out of recession, his guidence has earned England the respect of international leaders around the world. I agree with webcamerontellslies we cannot allow the tories to win! its unthinkable. The investment in this country during Labours Office would be lost overnight.
I would not want to live in England with the tories in Government.
yep , 1996 im sure many remmeber the buses , ruins , dirt ,that year i worked in a run down foundry where people lost there hands and fingers everyday trusting a press machine operated by windows 95 heh this was for £2.00 p/h was better off on the dole but because there was so much of this work couldnt avoid it when offered, kids today dont know how good they have it , they wouldnt believe the bush i crawled out of heh
Labour can and will win. The public are beginning to wake up to the horrible possibility of the conservatives being in power. I hope Gordon gives a great PMqs this Wednesday. Best of luck :)
Pity that he isn't Prime Minister now..
