The driving rhythm! Cocky yet humble at the same time. Moi jaime sa. That's the way it's supposed to be played tit boog. If you get this Chris, can you play a version of Allons A Lafayette on the push and post it on YouTube. So many play it in the key of F on a C accordion. Can you play it in C on a C accordion. I think that's right.
Wow...this is about the closest I've heard the Crowley Two Step played to Marc Savoy's version. Steve Riley is #2 but then again he was taught by Savoy himself.
Hey Chris. Remember me Ricky Thibodeaux. I use to play drums for my dad's band Geno Thibodeaux. I'm in Ft. Worth,Tx. now doing country pedal steel which is my real passion. Watching these cajun music vids sure brings back memories. You still sound great man....Ricky
Chris, awesome job... Aldus' version has always been my favorite and that is the closest that I've heard, thanks for posting this, it's not often you get to hear this "old" style of playing, again, awesome... Rusty
I don't know which is more amazing: your playing or the fact that your wife lets you do it in the kitchen while she's cooking. My wife would never go for that. If I tried it, I'd be on the run and ducking skillets in no time flat. Must be attributable to the wide disparity in our skill levels . . .
Lordy Chris, you tore that sucker up! Wow, that's great.

Thanks again, Chris. I enjoyed that. Very spicy stuff! If your supper was just as tasty, your wife certainly can cook!
