totally disagree. Yes, the BEST way to use the Raven is with long sleeves..BUT...the angles aren't as bad as you said they were, plus with a little practice you can show your hands empty before the vanish or transformation.
I've done this effect quite a lot and always shown my hands to be empty, and always got great reactions. Just have to perform it correctly and you'll have a great effect up your sleeve ;)
