In den 5 Videos ist ja viel--Wissenschaft. Die Zwei Sachen die mich am Meisten stoeren sind: Obwohl ihr Thomas Mann als "Weltberumter" beschrieben haben, sie haben nich einmal gesagt, dass er grosser Schriftsteller war. Und das war er!
Und (persohnlich), habe ich vermisst, die unglaubliche Erstaunung, Notitzbuch 7 unwissend aufzumachen und finden, untern den Jahren 1901-2, Die Entstehung Doktor Faustus! Von Hofmann geht in mein hard drive
I do share your opinions concerning the documentary... It's a bit old (shot in 1992) and too much obsessed with the "same topic". Nevertheless, the title is "Die Manns, Verfall einer Familie", mainly dealing with the problems of the family rather than Thomas Mann's work. Despite all this, I think that the programme is still worth watching, simply because there are not too many devoted to this great writer... Thanks for stopping by!
