  • that landing was amazing..

  • Can anyone tell me please what happens to the engines at 0:50 ? why are they suddenly opened longitudenally? I have never seen such a thing before !

  • @Gonzales1962 Its the reverse thrust most airplane engines open up like that, its to slow the aircraft down, basically whats happening at that time is that the engines are powering up but in reverse to slow the airplane

  • 300 million dollars???..... I'll take 3 then

  • vaykoskino ämjina kuyemko ( vay amina koyim)

  • The A380 could land with no reverses because of its powerfull brakes but the FAA asked Airbus a minimum of 2 reverses "in case of". It's a requirement.

  • why do 380s use only 2 reversers? would they use 4 to slow down quicker?

  • Because of its width. If they installed reversers on engines 1 & 4, the only thing they would do is sucking up dirt :)

  • what are reservers?

  • reversers! I mean

  • yeah baby , right

  • From 0:10 to 0:37....several trips over downtown.

And then, after that, it headed for final going west

to land on the longest runway of the airport,

    that's to say, runway 24R.

I can tell you there was a crowd at the gathering.

Full of people, one could see it from the air there.

The surrounding areas of the runway were overflowing.

It was "dark with people nose to nose" that it created a traffic jam.

And then, finally, we saw its 22 tires touch...."

  • From 0:10 to 0:37...."quelques tours au-dessus du centre-ville.

It touched down very softly. One might think that

its 563 tons at takeoff may seem so massive.

And when we see it land, it would be very softly like that,

like a feather, actually, one could say, for sure.

  • youre a year eleven student

  • Oh yeah like i believe you What i montreals airport code again?

  • It's size and the people's interest in the plane is it's selling point, wheather other airline companies catch on remains to be seen.

  • No problema amigo.

  • i heard doo doo smells and the word twat at least thats what it sounded like

  • Hi, crapper1. I'm Steve from Montreal,

and I must say....you're quite hilarious.

I'm not offended at all by what you wrote.

I listened to the video over & over & over again

looking for the words "doo doo" and "twat".

The best I could find was "tout doucement"

at 0:40 and 0:49, and "droite" at 0:21.

The French translation is in my next post.

  • wtf is that guy saying
