@allanshoafrocks Awesome! Thanks for responding to my comment. It looks like you are a pretty accomplished pilot. I am somewhat new to rc flying but I also have a .46 size Edge 540 w/an evolution .52 engine in it, so this little plane should be a good skill builder for me so that I don't have to bust up my gas plane. Obviously with a .52 engine, my gas plane is not set up for 3D, but it is a fun sport flyer.
@allanshoafrocks Thanks. I set it up precisely per the instruction manual, including the expo recomendations. One thing I will say I have learned about this plane is that it needs something more in the battery compartment than the velcro strip it came with to keep the battery from moving in flight. I installed a piece of velcro. If the battery moves in flight, then obviously your CG will be thrown completely out of whack. This might explain some of the complaints people have had with landing.
@dipstick431 ya stock esc.just the prop mod.I was flying this weekend and as usual the crappy servos the put in it pooched on me in my pre flight inspection. After only about 30 flights.good plane bad servos.you would think the could do better by now with their stuff.I have piles of servos from them that need to be returned
I agree with IEATSRT................if more of the guys with this plane would concentrate on flying it, then some of the bitching would stop. Why is everybody so afraid to fly their airplane right to the ground? They all seem to want to plop it from 4 feet in the air, and when it stalls, they want to blame Park Zone............WTF?
Looks pretty good mate, seemed to be dropping pretty fast on you but you didn't stall so thats good. I'm hating to read and see all the bad comments about this plane regarding the wing and such. I've found its best to bring her in with some speed and flare before touch down. She definately doesn't just float down and a nice even decent to touchdown. Bring her in steep with speed, level her of a foot or so off the ground til she slows and touches down. She'll make us better pilots!
@IEATSRT that was the maiden so now....much better. If you move the batt forward it seemes to be alot more forgiving on the landings.I have one flight I did 15 touch n goes without a hitch.dont forget the big fat prop!!!lol
Any problems noticed with the modified prop?

@fishonthefly1 this little plane really flips around,so if you dont set your expo right it could be a lot to handle.
You can start with the control horns set in the middle position so it has a little forgivness.
