Sorry..looks like you got taken advantage of. And yes he looked real bad when you got him back. If a horse has been trained for 6 months he should at the very least lope a set of barrels with anyone on him. He doesn't look like he has seen a barrel before.

The professional trainer is a TOP barrel racer & trainer. I will not say his name. This horse knows nothing about running barrels and he was so skinny when he was picked up the vet document that the horse scored a 1 yes a 1on the scale that was how bad he was. Will put the pics up and the vets report and then everyone can see how bad this horse was taken care of.

Perhaps if you put a person that can ride/run barrels on the horse he might work a little better?
