Jeff recorded the Guitar Shop album with Fender and Gretsch guitars, plus a Fender Twin/Fender Princeton amp combination, and only a couple of floor pedals. No rack setup. To hear Jeff's roots and tribute to guitar hero Cliff Gallup, check out the "Crazy Legs" CD he did with The Big Town Playboys. He played a black Gretsch Duo Jet and used metal fingerpicks just like his late hero Cliff, who was briefly the guitarist for Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps in the 1950's.

Love the bit of piano and that super cool guitar with the applause in bg!  Makes for true originality and variation instead of the shredders standard blow yer brains out mega notes per sec with no originality at all.

Beck is the man.
