  • Do a search for Brodit Pro Clip it is the specially formed mount plate for the astra that needs no screwing to the bodywork it clips round the left side of the centre console and then slots in between the radio and the inside edge of the centre console and just stays put.

    For the Vecra C they do 3 mounts the top mount in centre the top mount near window and the bottom mount for the centre which is probably the most useful as it doesnt block vents.

  • The orange and red cables I switched the caps of the fuse holders as the SOT-122 lead has them reversed and then you find an ignition live (the black wire on the utility 12v socket or cigarette lighter) and use the existing radio constant live for the permanent feed which is wired correctly in the SOT-122 lead.

  • Sorry I do not get on here that often but I will answer the questions below in case others are looking at the video.

    Sound quality via bluetooth is still good but not "as" good as the cable connection and there is a bit of a delay from selecting the song to allow the bluetooth to stream it to the parrot.

  • nice set-up mate. what is a brodit proclip? and is it for the iphone or parrot kit. i've just bought that parrot mki9200 myself, i got a vectra c and just trying to think of the best place to put it. cheers.
