  • what's the song anyway?

  • You are an amazing artist, this is mega creative. : ) So long ago and I'm just now finding it.

  • That is some amazing freehand work, especially working timed (due to the bleach). I really want to paint a tree like this on a shirt, I've only done text/patterns so far... Very cool nonetheless and a good choice for music. :]

  • Hey how did you get the differnt colors?

  • how did u do the pink??

  • This Providence?

  • @idusclothing It's The Maine.

  • how long did it take to finish the whole thing?

  • The bleach won't eat through the shirt if you mix it with water.

  • What was the orange stuff on the tree??

  • it looks like you shaded in the tree how did do it ??

  • do you have a step by step tutorial? i'd love to learn =D

  • duuuuuuuuuuude

  • u should sell designs!

  • we share the same obsession :)

i think if you wait til the design gets to the color you want and then wash it out, the bleach won't keep eating away at the fabric and it won't wear through as much, if at all. i've heard to put it through the washing machine (alone) but i just rinse it real good in the bathtub with a little laundry soap.

    awesome video, awesome shirt!

  • wow that's a really good idea!

  • how did you get the different colours?

  • why is it upside down?

  • make me one! hehe c:

  • I'm jealous of your skilll ha :)

  • just simply amazing, nice job

  • wow thats mad i wish i could free hand like you

    nice job :)

  • seriously i clapped at the end of this you are amazing! love it!

  • your a awsome bleachre

  • so amazing, great job dude :)

  • do you simply paint with plain bleach or do you dilute it with water, or soemthing else? i tried painting one time with it on a scrap and it dripped all over, any tips?

    wonderful job too!

  • where the hell is the result

    bullshit 1*

  • Beautiful painting, great video. I'd def. wash before wearing but I'm really impressed with your skills.

  • You should wash it right away, so the bleach is gone, then it won't weaken it anymore.

The colour change will obviously remain the same.

  • yay the maine <3

  • Great video. If you rinse the bleach out sooner it won't damage the fabric so much. Just leave it on 3-6 hours or until it gets to a color you like, then rinse it in cold water or run it through a wash cycle. The longer you leave it on the fabric the greater the chance it will eat through the fibers.

  • omg.thats amazing.

    i wanna buy it! :)

  • That's so cool. :) You should make me one and mail it to me, I'd keep it forever.

  • Hey, how did u take the bleach off? Did u leave it on or did u put it in the wash?

  • i just left it on until it dried. then wore it and washed it as necessary hah

  • awesome! much love

  • ahh the questions! hah lets see, yes i use straight bleach, i've been using a watercolor brush and it seems to work well, it is not a different color at the end, it is simply the bleach before it has had a chance to turn completely white. i DID do the tree upside down, on purpose. and yes the bleach wears through the shirt after a bunch of washes although the BDG shirt that i got from UO has lasted many many washes without any extra wear which is awesome since its my favorite!

  • I love the design, but it kinda looks you did it upside down. Too bad its taxing on the fabric versus paint which helps its strength. :O

  • ooh and sorry what did you use for the colored paint splatters at the end?

  • :) could you make us a stencil or seomthign ahhaaahaa

because i cant draw a tree like that

oh and by the way someone asked you this but what type of brush did you use? (firm..., pointed...) aaaand is it watered down bleach?

  • OMG!! ur awesome dude!!!

  • do you use watered down bleach? any sort of brush? do you have difficulty seeing your last stroke?

  • the bleach doesnt wash out. the problem is that it tends to wear holes through the shirt after a bunch of washes. its tough finding shirst strong enough. i've found the BDG tshirts that urban outfitters sell have withstood the test of time the best in spite of seeming the thinnest

  • i would buy that shirt if it stayd on =P but where can i get a bleach pen

  • im thinking of trying this but does it come out in the wash?

  • How do you get the different colored stains?

  • its not actually different color stains, its all bleach and all ended up white. It's simply the difference in time from the beginning to end. some of it was already dry [and so, White] white otther bits had just been applied and were a bit orange at first.

  • u can dilute the bleach a bit with water, so the bleach is not as powerful.

  • totally awesome. I'm trying to find documentation for school on how to apply t-shirt designs. This is brilliant and it's looks so easy to do :)

  • What do you use for the tree? Some sort of paint?

    Awesome shirt.

  • where do u sell them? over the internet

  • WHOA that is so cool! I would totally buy that!

  • perfect! I'm totally selling them.

  • sweet! how do I get one??

  • :o Omgsh!

That was aweeesomee! The tree at the end looks magical :D

    but seriously, good job!

and I love the song you picked out!

I actually found this by searching the song xD

  • i'm actually just using some cheap brushes i found in my trunk of art supplies. and no i don't dilute it, but i might have to start doing so because after a few washes its starting to wear holes into the shirts hah. ah well

  • I made a shirt this way and I have had no problems with the bleach eating holes into the fabric. I'm actually working on right now. Just so you know.

  • Oh! You meant washes of the bleach to create the brighter leaves/magic twinkles. I thought you meant wash as in cleaning. Sry.

    Amazing work.

  • hah i did actually mean wash as in cleaning. a few times through the laundry and the thickest parts of the bleach are wearing away. any chance you want to send some pics of what youre doing my way? I'm so curious to see what other people are doing with this.

  • I do more work with stenciling. I don't have that kind of artistic ability. I'll see if I can upload a video of what I've done if you're still interested.

  • definitely. send a link along if you do. i'd love to see for sure.

  • Really nice! What kind of brushes do you use? And do you water down the bleach first or just use it undiluted?

  • Wicked cool! I'm going to try that.

  • that looks awesome

  • amazing...im tryna make one now..hehe

thanks a lot for the idea. ;)

  • I love this. I'm totally going to try this. Thanks.

  • wanna make me one.

  • hahh sure. it'll cost ya a little! :P what kind of design you looking for?

  • I'd wear it.

  • Wow, you make it look so easy. I just destroyed a t-shirt and my carpet with your inspiration. I'm gonna stick to paint on canvas, i suck at bleaching.

  • hhahah just got a great laugh out of that. sorry! could be that its pushing 5am though. glad you enjoyed. keep trying! it gets easier. i made a HUGE mess my first attempt too. the shirt was soaked through, i got bleach on the floor and a chair. all sort of innuendo with the chair splotches.

  • That's Beautiful =O. Nice artwork.

I'm really interested in trying that out.

  • how'd you get different colors?

  • its actually not different colors its just slow to change from brown of the shirt to orange to yellow to eventually white.

  • cool

  • wow gr8 job on the vid. im liking the bleaching style.

  • good artwork

  • ya remember to put it upside up nex time.. it looks like a tree ok...the singer sounds like a brat .....ner ner

  • nah i wanted it to be this way. looks like its growing out of the collar
