I've never seen a decent ground fire like Red baron 3d had, and the crashes on the ground are so fake, no realistic sounds, or even interesting wood cracking sounds, no realistic damage, no fires. Made the game very boring.

The mass of the train should have been massive. I mean when the "lighter" plane crash to the massive and rigid train, the plane should have been destroyed and should be scattered and knocked far far away in a second because the big big momentum of the train even if the train speed was slow. But the train looks as though it was not "massive" enough!!

zeoncomrade I used to play a lot of Red Baron 3d. I agree this is the best WW I so far. Just criticizing in the hope the developers of the game listen for the next one :)

jimmyxx at.56 its not so bad, but still not right. What shows the lack of momentum worst is the plane hitting the train head on. The fuselage should crumple continuing into the train and the wings wrap around the train. Where the Plane hits the hanger, again the wings should fold in the direction of travel, instead they crumple straight down to the ground. However, none of that should affect the playability of the game. It just bothers me as a scientist that they forgot momentum.

This is excellent damage modelling, it's easier pointing out every little issue when it's in slow motion than it is at normal speed.

The graphics are great, but the physics stink. The objects colliding have no inertia at all. During collisions parts continue in the same direction. They do not bounce around as if their weight is zero.

At 0:56 it's probably because the plane hit the truck, the truck hit the building, came back and hit the plane, and exploded.

@easyeagle2 This has nothing to do with the physics, rather the damage model of the aircraft and building. Take a baseball and throw it at a wall.

I love when it when unexpected mechanical failures happen in this game. Once, my elevator just napped off during take off. I just sat there wondering, how did that happen and will this thing still fly? Well fly it did, only in a constant turn!

@Wailwulf lol yeah it shouldnt have done that . That train should have a weight of 1000 tons (the locomotive itslf weights about 130 tons)

Dude that is awesome, the way the tail flexes at about 3:47 is absolutely amazing. This game is well worth it. But dude, you must really hate those German fighters, crashing them all the time XD. Good work dude!

@AlanWawrzyniak There isnt much to explode..... the "fuel tanks" a redneck would say, but most people know you cant actually blow up a fuel tank by shooting it because there is not enough oxygen for combustion to happen... maybe if there was a fuel leak! also what would make the explosion ? the dirt in the ground ? yeah dirt creates sparks -.- you have been watching to many movies where things blow up for no reason.....

well as the prop's wood and not metal it's not likely to fold, it just snaps. I was more thinking about the structural integrity of the fuselage in the earlier tests but even there, it makes more sense to have realistic wings cause they are much more likely to fail when hit in combat than the fuselage is.

@Ascend3r thats my favorite part, its EPIC to watch a plane flail around when a wing folds, then all the wings just snap off and the plane tumbles down to the ground.
