I like the cover a lot man, but in a song like scar tissue my only critique would be to make sure your fills follow the same feel as the beat, groovey. Or technically 16nth notes= broken triplets in this song lol.

well that absolutely depends on your talent ;P

and to learn a beat you don't really need a teacher but to get a good technique you do... there are also many informative websites such as freedrumlessons(dot)com where you can learn beats and styles. and the lessons alone don't turn you to a good drummer. practicing at home often is very important to reach that aim ;)
