guys- I've never fished before and bought a $55 12' rod starter package. Went down to the beach at sunset to find myself in the middle of the "my 2 grand kit" convention. I had a plastic bag, rusty pliers, 2 hooks and a prawn for bait...
Nothing like landing a biiiggggggg fish, straight in the bag, big smile, big supper!
Any idea where I could get the terminal tackle you used to practice? Im just starting out and want to practice before I go to Mexico and hit the surf! Thanks!!
Nice cast, but try reducing the size of that knot. I bet you could cast your whole line if you did, it sounds like your knot is catching on the rod and therefore it would slow the cast down.
The knot seems a bit big to me.
