@Jackiesoarous Who taught the very first painter then? It took me a countless number of times to finally be happy with my paintings. I have always been good at drawing so i figured i would start painting. Yes I had tips here and there from people but I didn't have any lessons or classes. It was like trial and error. If a person persists and tries to paint exactly what they see or visualize than they can learn on there own. We were all born with the ABILITY what classes teach is PATIENCE.

I had lessons on acrylic painting from some one who has their work up in galleries and man ... wtf. Who taught this lady how to paint? Wetting the canvas? drawing green over blue (she wants your sky and land to overlap.. so that's gonna make a nice yellow in most cases... cause acrylics show through each other really well..)

Green and blue mixed together make a darker green, you cannot mix yellow it is a primary colour. The old masters used to prepare each layer of paint in various ways, creating a key to blend your paint into is an established technique. I dread to think what paintings would come from such a narrow minded view of technique and more importantly creativity.

For all the people who like Bob Ross paintings, that's cool. But remember, he painted in oils. This is acrylics, a whole different animal. You can't compare water based media with oil based media. Each requires a different skill set. That said, this is a good video to get people more comfortable making acrylic skies.

Honestly that's pretty neat on canvass. Yesterday my brother and I painted a metal base paint on a Jeep Grand Cherokee(piece of garbage)and layered it into the existing paint so you could not see a difference in color scheme kinda like you did when you flowed the clouds into the blue great job. At least you did not screw up the clear coat which is 2:1 not 4 to 8 like my bro did,,,Boy was he shiiting his pants on the way to colors...Love you, good job..More volume for us Iron Maiden lovers.Thx
