I'm only 14, so for the dumbbell exercises how much weight should i use? i normally do 20 on each for curls and hammers etc but for that?? My max is 30 with dumbbells soo??
i try do as much veriation as possible like some weeks dumbell bench press with inclines and pec flies then others do a barbell bench press some weeks heaviest for bulk then others lighter more reps for shape
this is not how to get big chest, this is how to get a big chest in a year, u have to do three sets heavy 8-10 reps then on the fourth set which is a drop set do 5-10 pounds less then what u did on your first set, and rep out to failure
thats a great workout, i have 17 inch arms which isnt the biggest, but my weakness is my chest. i have good genetics in my thighs, arms, and back but my chest just hardly grows. i do b. press, incline dbell press, butterflies, and decline dbell press. all of them i do 4 sets of 8. do you have any suggestions for me?
@Leandroferron i dont think i know as much as this guy with the video, but I've been working out for awhile, and my advice is start of with either normal db or bench press- 2 warmup sets- 5 working sets in a pyaramid ex 1-2-3-2-1 and at the 3-2-1 you do with forced reps with a partner. at the fifth set (the second "1") do drop sets with max intensity. after this immediatly do dumbell flyes -dropset fashion and finish of with cable flyes with pyramid and dropsets. this is what i do, it works
I do all of the ones he's shown + more! And my chest is just now pretty developed (After 6 months) If you eat right and stay focused and dedicated you will see real results. In 6 months you can look good.
just do cardio to burn fat start off walking a mile to 2 miles a day it doesn't have to be all at once either and if its easy than just keep increasing distance also try doing explosive pushups [look it up on youtube[lol]] from triangle shoulder width and fairly wide if you don't have weights but you probably do so just do incline chest presses [they're the best]
@jimmysmithtraining what can i do if i only have 35lbs dumbells and no bench at home?... i do it on the ground but i'm not feeling it on my chest, mainly my arms only

decline does nothing more than a flat bench does. it is a waste of time. just do regular.

@mdias5907699 That's solid advice, I'm a little more against as much volume as you recommend but the advice is solid for sure.

flat bench press, then flat chest flys.
Upper chest bench press, then upper chest flys. thats my chest workout
PureBritishBeef007 2 years ago
as you can see, you have to work your chest muscles on different angles. hint: stop using the flat bench chest press all the time

med ball push ups.
you need to couple chest workouts with upper back workouts too to avoid imbalances.
personally, im not a fan of supersetting multiple workouts focused on the same area, but that reaches into opinion

You should do chest presses but stick with higher volume work. Reduce the total volume and stick with 3 exercises per session.

Very nice video man, the only thing is you can't read the red text on the bottom of the screen, where it shows the number of sets and reps.
