  • 0:10 to 0:14 "Congratualtions! Your SHREDDER has succesfully involved into SUPER SHREDDER"

  • I love the winning theme!

  • good game, close fight

  • best TMNT game ever

  • There is ni April in Cast!!! WTF???

  • Leonardo THE BEST!!!

  • I can see why Raph had the power drill special move from tournament fighters. Also Super Shredder with simaliar to his super move. Leo special move Endless Screw attack as well.

  • 2 people couldnt defeat the super shredder

  • Knuckles floating island anyone? 5:06 XD

  • I remember kicking his ass with Mike while my mom was calling me for dinner haha

  • LOL 1:09 stick into ass!

  • Akuma Shredder!

  • I Like Turtles!!!

  • OH SHIT @ 0:13

  • 4:41 - The Final Anal-rod :D :D

  • Hey Imp. Nice Video. What is this version you play? The colors of Shredder and Don looks different from the version I play. Can you give exact info on what emulator and which version of Turtles Ninja 3 you play? Thank in advance.

  • congratulations, your Shredder just evolved into Super Shredder!

  • Raph has the best special in my opinion. Leo's second simply because you have to get close to the enemy in order to use it. Raph is the fastest and most destructive and can go the distance (literally).

  • I remember me and my older brother got our asses handed to us by SS. We were so pissed!

  • They should have had brought back the animators for the first season for a fight with Super Shredder on the show.

  • This seems so hard. All the ninja turtles games were hard, weren't they? The enemies would kick and slap you, and zap at you. The foot soldiers would grab your back and hold you there for what seems like a really long time. I beat the original, arcade part 2 game, and I've played this but it was a rental so I never finished it. I've also rented the tournament fighter VS game and it was pretty tough as well.

  • i love nes graphics because they're so simple yet so beautiful.

  • Super Shredder is awsome .Gimme that ooze : D

  • Damn Shredder was much tougher in this game then in Turtles in Time for the SNES.

  • @TickleMeJewish

Better than that,he's much tougher than he was in the Secret of the ooze movie in general,I mean it's pathetic,in that movie, super shredder easilly gets defeated by having piles of wood fall on him,but he,he can unleash super lightning energy which is awsome.lol

  • @TickleMeJewish

I thought this was that game. Wasn't there a game that had various names because of the confusion of the 3rd movie's title?

  • @OmegaPhazon That Hadouken demutates you (you turned into little turtle) and take half your energy.

  • wow its like secret of the ooz meets turtles in time V_V

  • Kevin Nash...

  • This is one of my favourite bosses. He's hard, but I always managed to beat him on my last life, with my last bit of health. He has some awesome counters and special attacks. But they can all be overcome if you know the trick. His anti-air counter usually misses if you don't hit him with the flying kick head on. Instead, barely scrape his head during a kick and he won't counter (it works the same with the mini boss Slash). The electro move can be dodged by jumping diagonally wildly.

  • oh jeese now i recognize the theme, it's used in turtles in time!

  • Anti-Air counterhits from super shredder, definitely had to pull out the game genie for this one.

  • WOW! i used to play those hard ass games in the past on my game boy years ago without save states or anything.Games like batman the animated series, gargoyle's quest, turtles radical rescue. But now i dont realy have the pation and vigor to beat those hard ass bosses like then.So i use save state on my psp.I admire your skills!

  • THIS GAME WAS SO DAMN HARD ..I NEVER FINISHED IT

  • its kinda funny, Don is fighting for his life against a shredder on steroid, and the other turtle dont do anything about it, there like "yeah we should be help our brother, but its much more important to hold up the word turtles, yup, much more important.

  • That not Shredder it Akuma lol

  • Looks similar to the Emperor's room in Return of the Jedi.

  • In my opinion, this was the toughest Shredder in the nintendo series!! Me and my brother used up the rest of our continues trying to beat the last part of this game!! It was a lot of fun. i wish they had an arcade version of TMNT 3,. Anyway, this brings back lots of good memories!!

  • I finished him with Michalangelo....for me, he's the best one

  • why did you prefer playing Don in the game, I want a piece of advice: which one of the 4 to choose? :)

  • @teodosy I prefer Donatello over the others simply because he was so awesome in the first NES game, that's all. I would have to say that each turtle in this game is pretty balanced. Raph has the fastest special, so you can spam it a lot if you're low on health. Leo has probably the best bosskiller special, he spins around, doing a crapload of damage to the boss (multiple high damage hits). Don basically has a slow Raph's special, allowing for more hits in one special.

  • @teodosy Continuing a bit. Mike has a harder to aim special so using it is harder than any of the others. I would suggest maybe starting with Leo and experiment with the rest as you lose your lives.

  • @lmphk thank you very much for the reply :)

  • I find it funny how in games, shredder is kickass ass kicker and in cartoons he gets his arse handed to toitels at every turn. :)

  • If you fought shredder with michaelangelo you would've killed him without getting hit

  • @brandonholtuin Yeah, he's totally in to rape in this game.

  • this guy was a major bunghole

  • If I turned myself into a mutant freak and couldn't shoot fireballs or lightning bolts, I would be very disappointed. How do guys like Shredder win out while other folk get turned into Flies and Swamp Things?

And oh snap, that credits theme is hot!

  • I never understood the M.Bison-like move Super Shredder makes.

  • @andge1001 you mean the one raph makes?

  • No, the ones that Super Shredder makes in this game and in TMNT IV - Turtles in Time, like the move at 0:23

  • It's a shame Super Shredder never got a single appearance in the old TMNT cartoon, let alone the turtles never fought him in the only movie he was in.

  • @nils920 I remember that in the new cartoon which is not bad, that super shredder appeared in some later seasons when the dark future was shown. I was like hot damn, he was indeed super shredder. Nice referrence to old NES games or 4th SNES/ARC game.

  • Lol, I remember playing this with my bro back when I was a lil itsy bitsy boy XD

  • To me this game was better than TMNT 4 because it had more levels and enemies.

  • at 4:40 you shoved that stick so far up his ass he died lmao

  • PIZZA NOVA VILLA LOBOS!!! awesome!!!

    PHilippines

  • People sorta do sometimes not all the time.

  • uh oh...

  • Super Shredder's got Akuma's slide move.

  • Wrong. Akuma got Super Shredder's slide move.

  • Woah you're right! Good call!

  • @Beremor and don't forget the hadouken!!!

  • The Final Boss music is the same as in TMNT IV and Hyperstone Heist! OMFG!

  • la primera ves que ve al Super Shreder solo puede decir... "No maaa..."

  • I wanted to make a Kevin Nash Reference here, but I thought better of it. Fond memories of me and my best friend fighting Super Shredder in this game:)

  • I met Kevin Nash and brought up his role as Super Shredder. I thought he wanted to power bomb me through a table.

  • Nice! At least Big Sexy isn't a washed up drunk like my fav, Scott Hall. Why, I'd be proud to have been the Shredder.

  • ooooh i didn't know it was a remix to the super shredder theme from turtles in time. 8 bit version is sweet

  • Apparently Super Shredder was a Ryu wannabe. He even has the Hadoken. XD

Still, I remember this game very fondly. Thanks for the memories.

  • I always like the sound effect when the boss get finish @ 4:42. Classic! Very nostalgic!

  • "Thank you for your playing" haha

  • Wow I remember playing this game when I was a kid.

  • The shredder armor sure look fascinating

  • the best tmnt game ever

  • they forgot about Baxter in this

  • super shredder would be one of the best halloween costumes EVER

  • Oh, it was. 1991, homemade.

  • Super Shredder've got potential to be unbeatable boss, with his ability to "super run" alone. It's bad that his AI is rarely use it to any real advantage in a battle.

All his other moves not so dangerous - lighting is easy to dodge with special move, fireball is rarely used in battle and he teleports only after using lighting, though sometimes it could be dangerous.

I remember when I beat him for the first time, it was my on my last life of the last continue. It all was Krang's fault. :(

  • This boss is a lot easier if playing as Leo... when he points up to the sky to summon lightning down to him you can get in two of Leo's Spinning Blades super moves... each hits him 5-6 times, and since they are considered "super" that's like hitting him 12+ actual times... all while he's just standing there preparing a semi-easily dodged attack!

  • This game is much better than the first 1s

  • the first one wasnt bad. Obscenely fucking hard on the last level though..

  • Super Shredder is hard as hell.

  • see kids, this is what happens when ninjas take steroids. Still, I admire Shred-head's commitment. You don't see Naruto bathing himself in mutagenic chemicals, and ol' can opener here was throwing fire balls and calling down lightning.

  • do you have the first game?

  • this game is so cool! i have all the bosses except Dirtbag and Mousers as actionfigures

  • I could recognize Simon's Quest's holy water noise from a mile away.

  • TMNT 4's Super Shredder music was better..lol.

  • konami for ver the best!!!

  • I really wish they had an arcade port of this game..

  • So it was Super Shredder who taught Akuma how to teleport. :/

  • exatly, I agree....

  • This vid should be redone with Gouki's quotes, for a change...^_^;;

  • Have to disagree with all of you Raph is the best turtle in this game anyway

  • How many bo staffs does it take to fall flat on your butt? 4:40

  • What was the structure in 4:58

  • best boss theme ever even in 8 bit

  • They should have had the Rat King as a boss....

  • agreed they shouldve added rat king, stockman the fly, traag, tetsu, wingnut, metalhead and karai as bosses. wouldve made a nice big cast of main villians

  • doantello was best turtle imo

  • If you're here just to troll, then I don't wanna see you.

  • ROFL C-c-c-c-combo breaker!

  • I wouldnt say they are failures but Leo was the best. With that you could beat the game without losing a life on NES. Donatellos special hit was good since it could hit 3 times on same target and moves to left or right. Michaelangelo same 3 hits and moves left or right. Raphael imo worst agains bosses since only 1 hit but good for evade.

  • I agree, Leo was the best, his special's a bit too overpowered in my opinion though. Raph had a pretty weak special, it's very fast though which makes it a pretty spammable attack, you could do it all over the screen.

  • Mike had a pretty good special, its speed was decent and you could use it in fairly rapid succession. Don's special was fairly strong and had decent range, the good and bad part about it is the speed, the slow movement allows more invincibility time, yet it could also get you killed because of the slow "recovery" from the attack.

  • Ok...so TMNT part 1,2 and 3 were from the NES. Part 4 was SNES...okay I never knewed there was a part 3 also for the NES now I see. Pretty looks like Turtles 2.

  • Leonardo all the way..FTW! lol

  • Nice to hear from somebody not humping Mike all around.

  • He has my name so thats a instant fan boy born right there lol

  • Thanks so much 4 uploading! They seriously need to put this game on the wii virtual console, that would be an Instant download for me. Personally speaking this is one of my favorite games of all time. Sometimes it gets overshadowed by Turtles in Time(which was also great), but I always liked this one a little bit better. Mikey is the best for me :)

  • This really is great, it often gets overshadowed by TMNT2 or Turtles in Time, still, it doesn't make it worse than the two, in fact, I would rank this the best over the three beat'em ups.

  • dude i completely agree wit you man! this is easily the best one ever, wish they had an arcade version...this also had the coolest soundtrack in my opinion. i wish that was also remade in arcade quality...

  • mikey's super kick is actually the most powerful against him.

  • Memories...

  • es bakan

  • slash and tokka were awesome as well.

  • slash was awesome :P

  • super shreder always get me, til this day. can't wait for this game to go to the VC, to continue were I left off.

  • The easiest way to beat Super Shredder is to dodge his attacks and to stay away from him until he lights up for that lightning attack and then hit him while he's shooting the lightning.

If you're good at dodging his lightning attacks, just keep repeating the same pattern and you'll take him down, easily.

  • lol 0:36 Don got pimp slapped..XD

  • lmao when you hit him before the electrical move with the stick it looks funny

  • Leatherhead, Krang and this guy were the hardest bosses for me

  • Why Don? Leo is the best!

  • 'Cause Don has been my favorite turtle ever since TMNT 1 on the NES.

  • Leo was always but my favorite, but everyone's got different tastes. :] B.t.w., I think if if you fly kick Super Shredder to where you land as far away from him as you can, most of the time if you try to walk away from him you'll get away.

  • i use mike on this battle cuz of his special

jump back word move where he leaps off of his hands i have no favorite turtle they all have there advantages and disadvantages like raph had short weapon but his special was best for the Leatherhead and Leo's was better for Dirtbag but thats just how i play lol

  • Man I love the music in this game. Makes me wanna fire up my NES and play this game again.

  • up up down down bak forward back forward A B start and repeat the same thing at the character select screen and u will have the cheat menu for all the arenas any ways great fight man

  • dude use leo and when shredder holds his hand up for that lightining crap sword spin a bunch of times it works i killed him with two lives

  • It's a known fact that Leo is the best character, along with Mikey to topple Super Shredder, but I still like playing with Don.

  • Some of the coolest video game music

  • I hope this game will appear soon on Wii online

  • man i used to beat this game los of imes and apain tsubasa 2 those were the best there is

  • this is the best game ever

  • What happens if Super Shredder hits you with that Hadoken orb thing?

  • You lose two health bars and you turn into a regular turtle for about 5 seconds, then you turn back to normal. You are invincible for the time that you are a regular turtle.

  • I was surprised to hear that. I thought getting turned back into a regular turtle in the TMNT games caused you to instantly lose a life like in the TMNT arcade games.

  • I never beat this game it was so hard

Thanks a lot man for show us this games of TMNT in all versions, well done, makes me remember good times.

  • Nice fighting, man.

I remember beating this final boss with Raphael like 10 years ago when I was about 9 years old.

One of my favorite video games ever.

  • Is great to see a "normal" player first time, because I always see guys that don't get hit once...and that's good, it shows that they are good at this game. But when I see someone get hit it feels like a real fight, is like see a movie. The hero gets hit a couple of times, it makes the show more exiting. Thanks for the video. COWABUNGA!!!!

  • Use Mikey and just use the turbo attack, just keep moving. I can (most of the time) beat thius guy without getting hit.

  • Ah....Memories....Krang and Shredder(Both version) are bitches to beat....

  • Shredder just looks like a badass when he grows like that, what a bitch he was to kill

  • Good memories, damn those turtles were popular back in the days. :)

  • Brings back some good memories. Leonardo is my favorite.

  • He's also the best turtle to use in Krang and Super Shredder, along with many other bosses, but in my videos, I beat every boss with Don, as he is my favorite turtle.

  • Cowabunga

  • man i remember this boss..

he just wouldn't get defeated T__T

  • Dayum man. I remember beating the game, but I don't remember that taking out super shredder was that long! O_O

  • this game is awesome

  • I beat him with Mikey. Luckly of course. XD

  • you gotta be kidding guys...use Mikey vs SuperShredder. I can sometimes beat the dude without even getting hit:P

  • I actually finished the game, but by a stroke of luck in the end with my final continue. Super Shredder and many bosses take a while to beat as well.

I tell ya, games back then were so difficult overall compared to games nowadays.

    ~Trav.~

  • This game was virtually impossible to beat.

    ~Trav.~

  • Yeah, it's a real challenge.

  • This is one of his toughest incarnations in all the TMNT games.

  • Thank You For Your Playing

  • And thank you for watching.

  • you should play this online for 2 players

  • Hey, isn't that the same tune that plays in Turtles in Time?

  • I am not sure, since I sadly haven't played that game, I might though. Maybe I'll even start to record boss battles of that game(SNES version).

  • After 2 minutes of exploring through the .SPC of TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, I found out that the last boss has, indeed, the same music, though differently made.

  • This is also the same boss music that plays for the Sega Genesis game, TMNT: Hyperstone Heist. From watching this clip I am vaguely suspecious that Hyperstone Heist may be the same basic story as this NES TMNT III (which I haven't played all the way through), because the final boss fight itself is similar.

  • Also, this song plays during the Final boss in TMNT4 Turtles in Time for the SNES, as well as the arcade version of it.

  • I think it was already mentioned that TMNT IV: Turtles in Time for the SNES, but the Arcade one wasn't. So basically this track plays at least in 5 TMNT games (including TMNT IV's both SNES and Arcade versions), TMNT III: The Manhattan Project (NES), TMNT IV: Turtles in Time (SNES/Arcade), TMNT: Hyperstone Heist (Genesis).

  • Good thing it is a great track. ^__^

Also, thanks for that breakdown! I find it rather interesting.
