  • omg... i love the sound of a beautiful v4 engine

  • How are you not completely fucking up the engine by overheating it while doing this?

  • @wiemheer

Very simple, you see the big fans in front of the Dyno ?? the blow cold air so a bike will be cooled . also we suply the bikes with ar from outside the building to cool the room down . and after a few runs the room gets hot then we just stop for a short while open the doors so fresh cool air can come in .

Also bikes like this are fitted whit a big radiator and cooling fasn as well

  • Can you listen to that sound? those are horsepowers being produced!

  • DESMO POWER !!!

  • the louder the better hahaha :-)

  • BEAST

  • The D16RR is a 1 litre V4 with a maximum of 200HP. Its similar built to the MotoGP Racebike.

  • Not exactly, the MotoGP bike of 2006 is similar to the D16RR. The MotoGP bike of today is a 800cc v4 with 230+ hp. Never the less, it's a MONSTER!!!!

  • how many cylinder

  • lan aq ne cbr 900 rr sı ya ducatı aq

  • English please!

  • fantastic.

  • Biggelaar Tuning izz tha BOMB. My 750 Paso izz also tuned by Biggelaar. I'll take on a 900 cbr rr anytime! Bring it on PUSSY'S!

  • @Mats, the 155nm was at 8500 rpm, top horse power is deliverd at 10.000 rpm and it holds it untill 12.000 rpm (we reflashed the ECU)

the D16RR is the short name for the desmosedici and the engine has 990 cc, the 800 version is not produced for road use , for more dyno results check my website the 1098R will follow probaly this week

  • la ducati è la migliore

  • ragazzi questa è made in italy noi abbiamo anche qualcosa di buono hihihih. forever ducati

io possiedo una ducati 1000 ss

  • ke bestia!!!!

  • damn, that is amazing.

hope the owner also use the bike for what is it made for... to drive it !! and not puts it in his shed to drive is once a year to show off at the TT in assen.

    that would be a waste....

  • they say that the bike from Bayliss and Capi produced around 260 bhp on the Cranckshaft.

maybe even more so they had to drop around 40 BHP to make it reliable, also this engine is not a copy of the race engine only bore and stroke probaly .rest is specially made for the road bike

  • i dont know where you heard that but i think they are more around the area of like 225 horsepower to the ground. the actual race bike weighs 30 lbs less than street going versions.

and most everything is the same as gp 6 . from swingarm to the brakes and even the front suspension is the same. also the wheels ,dash are exactly the same. even the gearing ratios are very similiar in the cassete type tranny.

  • @mushrume, the road bike and the streetbike have nothing in common, the brakes are different (motogp uses lithium calibers, not for sale) front suspension from the road bike is a cheap version compared to the race bike`s) i dont hear things for that matter i know them . i have bin in the corse department when they where developing the 800cc bikes and the 990 bikes where open to look in to,we do al lot of ex race bikes and not much is the same or comes close to road bikes

  • Its Beryllium calipers. And anything is for sale.

  • well how much hp does the one used by capirossi and bayless have??? just curious

i know that a ducati moto gp engine is toast at around 400 miles , i wonder how much hp they have to drop off to make it reliable for the road?

  • A-freaking-mazing!

  • Any ideas why Ducati don't Gasflow the heads as standard then?

    Is is a reliability thing?

  • gasflowing the heads is very cost expensive and is only done to factory racers .

i have a older 999 F04 engine here for my own use and those heads are gasflowed from factory

still there is a lot to say about this bike on the film, the engine is in no comparisment to the 990 desmosedici that was used by Bayliss and Capirossi, the only thing it has in common is the stroke and bore settings for the rest the engine is completly different .

  • what is gasflowing the heads? thanks

  • 170 bhp!!!!!!i'd be looking for my money back from ducati.that bike should be putting out 200 bhp.

  • you could ask all you wanted but the power output that is given is 200 BHP on the crankshaft with loses as to DIUN specification would be around 175 on the wheel, so 173 on the wheel for this bike with 1000KM on it is normal.

by the way at this moment after gasflowing the heads the bike has 193 on the wheel, that is around 225 on the crankshaft .

  • silly italians sould have adopted the DIN right? because its measuring on the wheel right?

  • @Mats, these days Ducati gives DIN crankshaft horsepower like the jappanese do, rearwheel is never used by manufacteurs as it doesnt not look well for sale`s ... we also just tuned a 1098R and that went from 175 on the wheel to a massive 196 on the wheel.. so D16RR is exclusive but the 1098R twin overrules it in power and the way it delivers it, what you think of 155NM torque ...

  • 155NM is impressive. what rpm was that in? 8000 - 10 000?

The D16RR is the same as the Desmosedici rr?

    800cm^2 right?

  • cool
