Idk if you have read these books, but here are my recommendations: "Shatter Me" by Tahereh Mafi (dystopian, and amazing!), "Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs (Fantastic book),and "The Scorpio Races" by Maggie Stiefvater (Loved it)
The Monstrumologist series by Rick Yancey, are pretty frickin awesome.
