There was a scene about half way into the game where you rescued a composer or something like that and in return, he played his music for this desert village and then rain came finally. This is the most incredible piece of music I have ever heard. It almost brought a tear to my eye. I wrote a script for a live-action ThunderCats film some time ago and I could totally envision this theme playing over it. Listening to this gives me the inspiration to continue on with my script and to hope that when the eventual time comes that Hollywood makes a live-action film, it's done 100% correctly and with justice to the property.

If you look at the show credits it says Bernie Hoffer Score on most Episodes and music James Lipton on some later ones. It probably means that James did some additional works besides the main themes, probably when the new Cats arrive and the Luna Tack's come into stroy line. Weather or not it's the same James Lipton of the actor's studio is any one guess.

Bernie Hoffer wrote the ThunderCats theme, just as he wrote the Silverhawks music and most other Rankin Bass produced cartoons.

While I'd *conceptually* like the idea of a Live Action ThunderCats movie, there really is too great a risk of it being done poorly or (even worse) in a mediocre manner (poor/bad could at least be made fun of; middling is even worse, because it's not bad enough to joke about, and not nearly good enough to enjoy even as a guilty pleasure).

Because it really is a very silly concept. One of the best cartoons of the 1980s, with some of the best music, I will certainly give you that....but humanoid cats versus a mummy?......if it were made into a live action or CGI film, it would be called Thundercats: Box Office Poison :P

Strip away imagination from any fantasy idea and it becomes silly. Done well I think a movie would would be great, Many older fans would see it, and new fans are being made all the time, my nephews and nieces love it.
