  • hi i'm sorry if someone has already asked you this, but, i was just wondering if you found that your headkandy hair extensions shed at all or look matte looking sometimes? I have the tanned blonde colour, and i've noticed that they seem to look a bit matter after styling them unless i brush them every half hour, and they also shed quite a lot of hair, i just wondered if anyone else had this problem! :) love your reviews!

  • @shawna4change I think HK made some changes. Not sure when. They keep getting better in my opinion.

  • Number one choice of extensions now? What brand last longer for you? And have you tried bobby glams extensions. They're not headkandy. They just shared a facebook. But they have a full head set that has 7 pieces and all are quad wefts. 220g of hair! Love the videos<3

  • @NOM145 Hi there, I just recieved my Bobby Glam hair. I will be doing a tutorial soon on their quad weft set, the hair booty and the pony tail The hair is amazingly silky. I'm IN LOVE with the pony tail.. only one i hae worn so far. I LOVE they have exactty the same color choices as HKandy. They dont' offer as many lenthg options but they have double, triple and quad sets somethign very new and desperatly needed in teh extension world :)

  • @NOM145 got my bobby glam pony tail and the bobby piece and a quad wefted set. Absolutley awesome hair. I was a little sad to see they didnt' offer as many lengths as head handy though. They have such a beautiful cut I don't want to cut them but they are seriously too long for me. I think the younger girls looking ofr that "rapunzel" look will ove them!

  • Thank you for replying so fast :) I really appreciate your recommendation/opinion! So, you'd really put HK above HG now they've improved on their hair??

  • Hi. I was wondering if you could tell me, now HeadKandy have improved their extensions, which you would personally rate as your number one choice please? I live in the UK & am having trouble deciding how worth it it will be to pay out the extra & wait the extra time for the Hello Gorgeous extensions or to go with the HeadKandy full set ones? Also, I have pretty thick hair, so not sure which will be more suited to me in that respect either... Please help :)

  • @bexamidian HK last longer than they use to prefer this brand for 2 main reasons..Best selection of color choice. HK has several Highlighted shades which look much more natural than just one solid color as most others offer. secondly they offer 4 differnent lengths. I find branads hat require cutting tend to tangle quicker and you have to spend extra cash to get them cut. They need a special cut to kep the ends right. Foxy locks is my number 2 choice.

  • All the brands I've review have secure clips. Head Kandy gives you 3 EXTRA clips in case you happen to get a defective one you can replace it. I will say that I have asked HKandy To secure the Bottoms (stich the holes on the bottom securely) on the Quad weft clips as they often Flip up and i have to stich every set my self.

  • are the clips secure? i would like to purchase these hair extensions but if they're going to becoming out , i would like to go with a brand that has better clips such as luxy . so how did the clips hold up and are they truly secure? like to the point where if someone were to pull on them, would they come out or would they stay put? thank you in advance. (:

  • HAVE YOU ALREADY WORE ''CLIP FANCY'' HAIR EXTENSIONS? the website says there are until 300g 26" I am doing a search of hair companies :)

  • @ISABELADSC no never heard of them!

  • @relaxnow ohh there are videos on youtube.........

  • how many grams of hair are u using?

  • Im sorry if u answered this question already, but how long are these extentions?

  • @HelloListenGoodbye If you go to HEad kandys website they will show you the diff lengths . Heloo Georous and Headkandy are the only ones i know that make diff lengths.. i use 16 in

  • @relaxnow K I will do that(: Thank you. Also Which extentions do you prefer? Cause i really want extentions (to get long hair) but i want someone smarts opinion. :-) Thanks

  • FINALLY! I have been looking for a video like this for ages. I have hair that's just touching my shoulders but it's really thick. I ordered a full set of HeadKandy extensions and they didn't work - they just looked like they were sticking out unnaturally from my hair. I'm going to order some of these quad wefts and see if it helps. Thank you again!

  • Hahaha sometimes I put extensions on my shih tzu too! Haha he has such beautiful hair already though, must be why I'm so obsessed with hair!

  • This was very helpful. Great job

  • @xCamille1990x thank you!

  • Thank you for your reviews, they are so helpful! I came to this video from a link in your July 2010 video where you were comparing different brands.

One of the things that stuck with me was you showed a Head Kandy weft which had matted horribly after just one wash. In the July 2010 video you had text that said Head Kandy had improved their extensions since then.

Do you mind sharing your experience with Head Kandy now that their extensions have changed?

Thank you for your time :)

  • @aussiedonna50 Hi there thanks for your question. Yes Head Kandy has greatly improved their extensions, but truly if you want them to last dont curl or wash them. I find the paparazzi blonde doesn't last as long as the california highlights, due to the bleaching i'm sure. Over all the darker you go, the less you wash and curl the longer they last.

  • Sorry i'm asking so many questions but since quad mean 4..it comes with the 4 pieces you showed us correct? They dont have a picture of what exactly the "Quad Weft Clip In Hair Extensions" comes with...

  • @mandamariexincorrect a Quad is ONE piece (4 singlessewn together go tht e site and look closely or see my other video where i review the different brnads, i show each piece there. one quad won't do you any good. you woudl need two in the back one cut in 1/2 for each side. This is the best option for REALLY THICH HAIR ONLY. if you do not have thick hair order a full set.

  • @mandamariex I answered this already one quad cost about 39 to 42 after you convert it from GBP. You don't get 4 quad pieces in a set, there are No QUAD SETS, they are sold individually. the best deal for the money is a full set on quad and 9 other pieces of hair. They do have photos of a quad on their site, you can certainly see what a quad looks like form my videos.

  • The "Quad Weft Clip In Hair Extensions" (45g) are $62.99 US on the website but in the beginning of this video you said they cost $39? I just wanted to make sure i was looking at the right ones? I need some advice too...i have really long hair so its a waste of money to purchase the full head so i was thinking the four pieces of hair was better for me?

  • cut them in half? are you sure? hm...but am i not left with an open edge then? i don't have a sewing machine to sew it back shut.

also, since you have yours curled it's hard to tell how thick those quad pieces really are. i really need the ends to be as thick as the top, as many extensions are much thinner at the ends.

thanks so much for helping me out :)

  • @germangirl421 Cut them down the middle .. then you will have a quad for each side. You will have 2 clips on one piece and will have to add a clip to the other. use a needle and thread.. no machine .. takes 5 min super easy.

  • First of all, so nice to see a video from somebody who isn't in her early 20's... :)

My question is, where can I get those side pieces? I do wanna use those quad wefts, but will definitely need 2 side pieces as well. I'm guessing you already had those from a full set?

  • @germangirl421 You can cut a quad weft in to two pieces and add a clip. Ask them to send you extra clips when you place your order or pick some up from Sally Beauty supply store.

  • can u do a tutorial on how u curl your extensions so they look like this

  • @hottycop911 I already did one .. look under relaxnow..its called HOW TO RACHEL ZOE CURLS.. tell me if that works for you. Thanks!

  • OMG I love your dogs! I have a Shih Tzu as well. They are the best dogs in the world!

  • So... I saw your other video where you compared all three brands and you showed how the Head Kandy matted all up after one washing... Have you had that problem with these?

  • @73Leslee

So far so good these have held up well

  • love my headkandy set...!it isnt bulky on my head. like my foxylocks ones...

  • i also love headkandy quadwefts..!!!so thick...hair is soo soft and not tangling...check out also my video about my obsession with headkandy...:)
