That Rotary engine was a German invention...and NO, it does not look or sound anything like that Mercedes C9. Even as a Porsche owner/fanatic, this C9 was the most crushing example of any machine ever to hit the Sarthe.

The C9 is probably my all time favourite and I have always liked the Mazda but prefer the 787B version.
