i was standing in the first row:) and rakauder is so right! the audience was awful and didn't know mgmt's music except for three songs! at the beginning of the concert the crowd almost pushed me to death and after a few album songs it got more and more vacant because all the stupid people left the concert. and i bet these people where those who pushed and scrambled the most at the beginning. damn idiots...

Kulturbanausenpublikum: Wissen das 1a-Lineup des Dockville nicht im geringsten zu schätzen, stürmen pünktlich zu MGMT das Gelände, belagern die Bier- und Fressstände, kennen dann nur Kids und allenfalls Time to Pretend, wundern sich, dass die auch andere Stücke spielen, können damit nichts anfangen, beschweren sich über ein angeblich schlechtes Konzert, und sind 10 Minuten später wieder verschwunden. Nie zuvor eine so miese Audience erlebt.

Korrekt. Ich habe mich in meinem Posting allerdings nur auf das Publikum als äußerst ärgerliche Randerscheinung eines ansonsten wirklich gelungenen Festivals bezogen. Zu einer Konzertkritik bin ich garnicht in der Lage, dazu war ich die meiste Zeit über notgedrungen viel zu sehr mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt, sah mich allerdings nach der grandiosen Aktion mit den Kids auf der Bühne vollends versöhnt.

Andrew VanWyngarden stand nur passiv am Rand der Bühne und hat seinen Job mehr schlecht als recht hinter sich gebracht also halt deine dumme Fresse oder ich stopfe dir mit deinem beschissenen möchtegern-subtil Humor dummer Masafacka-Hater.

Achje, ich bin wohl der letzte, der guten Bands den kommerziellen Erfolg nicht gönnen würde. Und dass auf Festivals Leute rumhängen, die sich von ihnen unbekannten Acts überraschen lassen, ist Wesen eines guten Festivals, deswegen gehe z.B. ich auf Festivals, so Kulturkenner bin ich da. Allerdings klingst du nicht so, als wärst du dabei gewesen, das waren da nämlich keine aufgeschlossenen Leute, sondern Trampel, die genau zwei Stücke hören und ansonsten pöbeln wollten.
