  • what chemicals were used in this reaction? my chem teacher showed us this in class but i cant remember,......

  • NEVER.DO.THIS.FOR.A.CHEMISTRY.PROJECT.

    It hardly ever works.

And there is no source on the internet that will give you a lab that acually works or is clear enough to understand.

Just do the saltbridge and get the grade.

  • @jordandaniels7

I'll never understand the need of people like you to so publicly demonstrate their ignorance. Clock reactions work just as baking a cake works: follow the recipe.

  • This is demon magic!!!

  • so if you put it together it turns black after a while, but when you stir it it becomes blank again. but if you stir it while you mix it it will go: "screw you guys!" and turn yellow and gray.

  • equilibrium and rate law !!!

  • It's all up to the ratio. Play around with it :)) Colours and colour times vary with composition.

  • We did this in chemistry camp, it was so cool!

  • It should be blue not black, but looks nice anyhow. Must be with more concentrated chemicals

  • it must be black lol do some research

  • Do you want a glass of water? Mmmm pardon, orange juice? Ok, well, a cup of coffee?

  • cool. what did you guys mix together>?

  • I SUSPECT it's hydrogen peroxide, potassium iodate, sulphuric acid, manganese(II) oxide and methyl dioic acid.. Cn sb confirm pls?

  • only thing i kno it is done with malonic acid
