Same goes for ESP, a lot of people that don't play metal use them. No brand is designed for a certain music style. Some guitar types might, not an entire brand. get your shit straight. People rock out on freaking fenders while playing metal and it sounds fine.

@Direksone im not saying that ALL of the guitars ESP and SCHECTER makes, but majority of all of them are made for metal and hard rock, and it dont matter weather The Cure use schecter or not, i can tune in everything from a Jangley country sound to a fuzzy blues sound, and i know people can shred on fenders, Jim Root, Yngwie Malmsteen, the guy from The Almost, and a shit load others, i also use a custom fender tele with EMGs but im just sayin that most ESPs and Schecters are made for metal

@adilovemetal BMTH is just one of those bands that's really hard to classify. Like Job For A Cowboy, for instance. People call it deathcore yet it lacks elements that deathcore has, like breakdowns. They just have a totally different feel than deathcore bands. Sure, BMTH has breakdowns. But they also have their own unique sound (except the riff in Medusa, which they stole from TBDM). It's one of those things you just know, I guess. Haha. Training of the ears, my friend :)

I'm a musician myself, and part of the process of learning how to play any instrument is to cover songs, You learn techniques that you wouldn't through simply playing your own thing. There's a lot you can learn from trying to emulate a certain musicians skills, sure, he wears Corpse paint, But he's a pretty fuckin' good guitarist. Going against the main, and doing what you love, and wearing what you wanna wear is why individuality exsists, He's a great guitarist. End of story.
