But I am seriously interested. I tried raising a chicken last year, it was just a couple of weeks. Looked like it got tame at the start (did feed grain from hand), but it only followed me when it was scared or hungry, as soon as I gave attention it ran away again. Could let me pet it.. hm.
one day..someone brought a chicken home in the morning..i made friends with it.and fed it rice..and then i saw a chicken soup.they made it Lunch..i was shocked/sad..i was like 7 or 8.LOL..
myn are surprisingly tame they will follow me round the yard i will sit down and they will come sit on me and at night i scratch undertheir feathers and stroke them they love it.

I once had a chicken that would fly/climb up onto my shoulder, but she caught some sort of disease and died. :(
