@alboKid001 simple really, if you had to carry water 2 miles to your home (instead of turning on a tap) you would want to conserve it. this method uses water very efficiently and wastes far less than pouring out of a jug or bucket

@masonhales clean water amounts are limited, there is no need to use 1 liter if 2 dcl are enough. You can drink the other 0.8dcl or 4 more people can wash their hands.

Imagine you had to clean up some cow shit(dung?) and got some on your hands, then you go there press it with your foot, clean water comes, you don't dirty the aparature, save some water and manpower! Using a bucket with dirty hands makes the bucket dirty and shit gets on it too and then everything is full of crap.
