Any that do exist were written years after his death. As for unicorns do you not know that the names for creatures have changed over the centuries. What the letters from Pliny mean. The jew Josephus, The Jewish writings, Babylonian Talmud. And there are Egyptian text that speak of the family traveling through Egypt. Even those that carried out the carbon date test have confessed it could have given a false date. Interestingly the weave of the cloth itself, that is the pattern when made, dates to a type only found in the 1st century.

If you Google you can find a high resolution image of the shrewd. If you have a program like photo shop you can go image/adjust/invert and turn it into its real state as it is a photo negative. If this images was formed when Christ came back to life and He was lying down in the tomb there is the problem. When I was younger and had long hair it would fall down onto my bed when I lay down on my back yet you can see that in this image gravity is such that it looks like the person is standing.

The front image is a different size to the back and it also looks like the neck is too short. It looks like a very good hoax. Some believe after existence studies that Leonardo Da Vinci was commissioned to make this using an early form of photography (hence the photo negative effect) for the catholic church so they could make money of displaying it. Prier to this one coming about there had been several obvious fakes that everyone new were mere paintings. The chemicals needed for photography...

One big problem with this last part - the Shroud of Turin has been proven to be a fake - carbon dating to the late 14th century. So it cannot be used as a basis in fact. However, the maps are a wonderful bit of evidence. Not the best, but they are interesting and surely deserve additional research.

@mlitsonata the part they took from the shroud of turin wasnt the actual piece of it, it was a part that was repaired in the 14th century so to get an actual legit carbon date out of it you would need to get an original piece of it, not a repaired part

@mlitsonata the carbon dating test were done poorly and I will explain how. The shroud of turin was at one time being stored in a church. That church caught on fire in turn burning the shroud a bit. So the shroud was recovered and fixed the burn spots by stiching in new fabric into the shroud. The carbon dating was takin from the new pieces of fabric and not the original old fabric. So they got the date of the new fabric. This is well known now.

also the shroud has had pollen test done on it that has shown that the shroud was at one time in Jerusalem. I have also heard that somehow the pollen test don't know has also dated the shroud back 2000 years old. The blood on the shroud has also been proven to be real. The wounds match what Jesus went through in the bible. We are waiting for another carbon dating test done right. There are other evidences that the shroud is the real deal to but you have to look more into it.

Me I actually do believe the shroud of turin is the real deal that it was the same cloth placed on Jesus body and that when he ressurected he left the imprint on the cloth of his body on purpose to show to us. This would explain why the discple picked up the cloth as well. It was neatly folded it said. Death could not keep Jesus Christ down he conquered death and can give us victory over death if we put our faith and trust in him. Even if it was fake I would still believe in Jesus Christ.
