What a moron this guy, Shahid Masood, is. He bashes Rushdi's book for no reason. There is nothing blasphemous in that book. It is definitely not a great (or even good) literary work, but its NOT blasphemous.
Oh and for all of you praising this guy's research, please read the book yrouself. Dont believe what he says: everything out of this guy's mouth is a filthy lie.
PS: I am a practicing muslim, so dont even think about bashing me for that.

Btw, there isnt a single verse in Quran or a reliable hadith that proscribes death for blasphemy. Infact, its Christianity and Judaism that recommend death for blasphemy. And idiotic muslim scholars got the idea from them. Now they have given this punishment up, but muslims refuse to. Ironic isnt it.
