Bruce is a perfect singer and the best choice for Maiden no daubt. But he came back to Maiden because he was not too successful with his solo effort. There has been a lot of Blaze bashing which I reject. Blaze Bayley's latest albums are great. Yes I bought them and like them. I don't like the new Maiden stuff anyway. Now with Steve's daughter opening for Maiden I lost respect. Her music is a slap in the face of real metal heads. This comes from a veteran Iron Maiden fan. It is sad. Up the Blaze!

After Powerslave Dickenson showed he could not do anything all that original or varied. Still a great singer though. DiAnno was a much more soulful guy. I love the first two Maiden albums, and in retrospect find that they have a diversity that you do not find on the later stuff.
