I am so thrilled that USA-1 has returned! He was, is and always will be my favorite Old Skool Monster Truck!

This truck was all about badass power and speed... which is why it crashed so often. I remember back in the day they used to say the truck shouldn't be allowed to run because it was "unsafe." Let's put it this way. USA-1 was clearing whole stacks of cars before anyone else. It was a serious racing machine.

@ssmccullough the greatest part was the 1000hp it put out in the early days...most weren't even close to that...Awesome Kong was the only one that may have had the most at 3000hp. USA-1 was the first Champion of the monster trucks...1988...and has and always will be my favorite. It has one of the most popular body styles on its frame...which probably helped sell a few more of those chevys I'll bet.

The shots of USA-1 rolling on its nose were from the show in Roanoke, VA, I think it was maybe '88 or '89. I was there to see it!!

Classic song and classic clips. I was very young when I saw Usa-1 on Televsion. His rivalry with Bigfoot got me hooked on Monster Trucks ever since!

USA-1 dosent race anymore becoase after TNT motorsports was sold (the racing series it ran in) to Pace and United states hot rod assoiation he didint want to be apart of it becoase he was a former Drag racer and has had problems with them before the truck was stopped racing in 1991 but returned 1993 and 1994 for a very short time but was only a body on another drivers truck then agine in 1996 or 97 it returned agine but only for a few mounth and 2000 he returned with Randy Brown (now Grave Digge

Driver) in a new series call ProMT but the series was short lived and left in the dirt was usa-1 from 2001 to december 2007 he used his truck as a support truck for the US troops in war and to churth related stuff he did that on his own money never got paid but he has now run out of money and the USA-1 4x4 has been listed for sale but proberly never will sell becoase he want to much for it and other things
