the oboe soloist is beautiful :D the band intonation is really good, however some of the parts are overpowering each other. The articulation is definitely there. the percussion is great. they know their piece very well .. Bravo! 87 out of 100!!

One of the best recordings I have heard of that piece - which is such an amazing piece love. Love playing it. Such a good balance within the band, even if there were a few miss-hit notes here and there. and big ups to the kid on the glocks!!

Overall sounds good.However,if you listen into details.. Some entrance are not together....some parts alwasy break down...higher notes from trumpets are not in tune and almost missed.....but tempo was good.it will be better if there are more details and chords can be improved too .

The overall performance is good, except for the unprofessionalism of the percussionist who made too much noise outside of their parts(ie. the random jingling before anyone started playing) and the random squeak XD But who cares? It's the music the audience listens for.

And it was definitely too technical. Not enough emotion. The Trumpet soli at the beginning had more emotion that any of it, besides the Oboe solo, but that even wasn't much.

Oboist has very very good and mellow tone, but she needs to work more on the air circulation/diaphragm support and also her rhythm. she's playing a bit too fast. but given the pressure and stress, i think she already did very very well!

Such a great sound for a small band for such and EPIC song <3 Top Band(Wind Ensemble) played this for our Spring Concert my senior year and we had some judges there who said that if we were at festival we would have received a superior rating for it. I couldn't believe my ears. We had a student conductor for it too. He was the one that picked the piece
