First couple of weeks suck, but after that, it starts to get alot better. Just keep in mind that if they use splints, you'll feel a world of difference AFTER those come out.
Biggest recommendation is make sure you are not allergic to whatever pain med they give you. Found out I was allergic to Hydro-Codone and went through 24 hours of hell because of it. Wouldn't want to do it again, but it was completely worth it!
