  • Stu on the Ridge, Stu Chairing the Committee - The Sin of Pride.

  • Poor Lieutenant Dan. It's always his legs!!

  • @sitonthecouch Where's Forrest Gump when you need him?

  • @jeff62rey I never made it all the way through that movie, so I don't get the connection.

  • I adore Ray Walston as Glen. He played Satan in Damn Yankees but I love him as a good guy. :)

  • I think what makes King's stories great is the exotic characters he dreams up. He has a way of glamorizing the ordinary, and inserting traits that are shared by us all, allowing the audience to connect almost in a spiritual way with his creation. He does this effortlessly, as if he was a psychologist in a thousand previous lifetimes.

  • Love the wanderin' music.

  • do you know that lord of the rings was stephen's inspiration for this, and trashcan man was gollum?

    it's true.

  • He changed him, but you can note Lloyd doesn't say Flagg changed him for the better.

  • MY LIFE FOR U!!!

  • Imagine walking into a warehouse and seeing all those nukes. Just think if the world ends all that crap is still laying around lol

  • LOL I forgot John Landis made an appearance in this!

  • 3:45 resident evil 1 dog bark

  • Geez I pictured Whitney as a BIG black guy.

  • How could that elevator door to that bomb warehouse open without electricity?

  • @dingecibbs the people over in vegas figured out how to get the power working again.

  • @dingecibbs The military has back-ups upon back-ups for emergencies. The power would likely stay on for a long time in top security installations.

  • @dingecibbs the facility has a backup generator, it says in the book

  • @dingecibbs The Hoover Dam. It would work itself for a few years even if no one is there to run it, powering Las Vegas.

  • Lieutenant Dan!!!

  • @dartfrogger I got no legs!

  • "the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig fire"

  • LOL Trashy is totally blissed out by all the bombs!

  • Never knew those nuclear warheads were so colorful.

  • Never utter the words "piece of cake" in a movie. Certain death!

Like the similar phrase "They couldn't hit an elephant at this dist--"

  • @ijwi Yes, right up there with "I'll be right back" and "always cut the green wire first" !! :)

  • @ijwi I reconize that second phrase, as the last words of General John Sedgwick, union commander, in 1864.

  • I think everyone is overlooking the best part of this whole thing. Tom Cullen finally figured out what the fuck M-O-O-N spells. Its spells moon. lol

  • Am I the only one who finds Trash's song really catchy?? They should release it as a single so my friends will stop looking at me like I've gone mad every time I sing it :-)

  • What is that great guitar instrumental that we hear when Stu and his "Ka-tet" were moving down that mountain hill? (right before Stu breaks his leg) -- I know a bunch of people are wondering the same!

  • @jyras4747 It's called "One will fall by the wayside" by "Snuffy" Walden - best song in the movie. someone put it up here: watch?v=cEuAVP44EG0#t=1m50s

  • Look out, Tom! It's John Landis with a gun!

  • ..ahh John Landis making hand shadow's ala Kentucky Fried Movie in the fire light crossed my mind in this scene and gave me a chuckle...

  • "piece of caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!"

  • Kojak's just like, "Fuck you babies, I'm going down there myself" lol.

  • When they are walking toward the mountains with the dog alongside it reminds me of the TV miniseries "The 10th Kingdom"

  • Spoilerish - if you haven't read the book

I remember reading Stu's fall and feeling sad after Stephen King wrote, "And, they never saw Stu Redman again." The pit of my stomach dropped because you knew someone was going to die.....Unfortunately, the miniseries did not capture that feeling.

  • Trashcan Man was awesome in the book, I wish they did more with him in this

  • I take it this part has something to do with the preide sin.

  • The guys at the campfire...isn't the one with the beard John Landis?

  • Their friendship with eachother is portrayed extremely well in this movie. That made this movie for me.

  • "my life for you!" lol!

  • in the book tom and stu's journey back was epic

  • You know those videos of fireplaces you can put on your tv for the holidays? Is that like porn to Trashy?

  • LOL

  • LOL!!!!!!

  • @kburke1933 ...probably

  • @kburke1933 LOL!

  • Wow, Trash is like a kid in a candy store with all those bombs!

  • Yea because everyone gets a compound fracture rolling down a hill...

  • it was pretty steep

  • J. Albert Prufrock... another clever TS Eliot reference, look at the graffiti, "This is the way the world ends" (The Wasteland) see Ed Harris in the early episodes "not with a bang but a whimper" note to English 101 students

  • those lines are from The Hollow Men right, not The Wasteland

  • J. Albert?

  • Why do they always fall after bragging how easy something was to do that clearly isnt?

  • @TheAcesofJokers

Because he forgot to thank God for helping him to get to the top. Always thank God for helping you with your accomplishments. It wasn't you alone. God Bless

  • i probably couldve climbed that

  • Glasses guy looks like John landis

  • That's exactly what I thought when I saw him and I think we're right.

  • I would hope he looks like John Landis, because it is. It's amazing all of the cameos they got for this. Kathy Bates, Landis, Raimi, King, Ed Harris (though his was more of an extended cameo). That's all the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more.

  • Is that epic music following the four of them across America?

  • You know the music is epic when ever it follows you were ever you go... lol

  • Where can the music at 4:01 be found? is it on the O.S.T?

  • but then again, come to think of it, its not the going down, but the going up thats the downfall :( ....... god i remember reading this part in the book for the very first time and wanted to reread this part and hope it somehow would magically change :(

  • dammit you 4, just slide down on your asses!!! you most of all Stu!!! why showboat?? :(

  • that bit was much more painful to read than to see

  • lol stu's fall looked so shit XD

  • It seems that Bernard... I mean Whitney... forgot that the superflu affected the whole world.

  • lmao Whitney is Bernard from Lost!

  • I remove my query from another episode.. it is indeed Bernard... thanks....

  • He may have had other intentions, but I think he ended up being a good guy!

  • Trashcan man was a role played perfect!

And Stu tried to show off and got owned by a crater..

  • And Flagg got owned by nuclear destruction.

  • @Wolfezth well u knoe wht they say "sh*t happens"

  • NOOOOOO STU!!!!!!!!

  • Geek moment! The guy with the gun at 3.09 is John Landis, director of an american werewolf in london et al

  • matt frewer is batshit

    perfect for trashman role

  • do you know the name of the song is playing as the are walking down the road?

  • @AdrianTepes21 The music is called "One will fall by the way" by Snuffy Walden, see my previous post for a link.

  • @ijwi thanks
