  • STRAIGHT TALK STRAIGHT SUCKS

  • There is no carrier, not even straight talk, that has coverage everywhere. I have had Straight talk for year now and have only lost coverage once, and that was out in the boonies, where no provider would work.

  • Straighttalk is the BEST.. ..i recomend it to all of my friends.. .Good phones ans good customer service.

  • I have had a straight talk for 8 months now. left verizon after 10 years I cant complain at all very good service no dropped calls unlimited everything. may not have some features but i like the no contract. cons 411 and service areas but then again im in west Texas and we have lots of no mans land out here

  • thanks for the heads up, I was about to get one of this

  • this phone is equal to SHIT that's why.

  • Mr.Jesse, I will address the Comments on this page rather than U, o.k.? St. Talk customer service is the Worst on EARTH! St. Talk also uses Different Providers for their phones. Write This Down! If your buying a ST. Talk phone. If the phone model ends in G, say LG900G-it's a GSM phone, which runs on ATT or TMOBILE. If it ends in C, it runs on Verizon(the Best, Largest Network). ALL of their Android phones run on SPRINT, the Worst Network(fewest towers). Ask Before you Buy, WHICH NETWORK.

  • Whenever you you buy a straight talk phone, get verizon because because verizon is so much better than at&t.An easy way to to tell that you are getting a verizon phone, look after the phone model number and there will be a letter after the model number and make sure the letter is C.Know this from experience. And have been very pleased with verizon.

  • i bought a straight talk phone that looks like a rumor that slides up with the keyboard under it and that signal was gone after a month i had the phone so i sent it in on the first of Sep. and it is now been a month since i have not got my phone yet i am going to get a touch screen straight talk phone now can't wait.

  • I had all of these things happen to me. I have spent several weeks without phones that were supposed to be repaired by Straight Talk. Never reimbursed for the days with no phone. I have ended up buying 4 Straight Talk phones due to them not working in my area. I hated finding out that I paid $69.99 for one of their phones only to find out that it would only use AT & T service which did not work where I live. I complained. They sent me a new phone - same model. Horrible customer service!

  • @WooopBoz, I know the customer services is experiencing problems (do me a favour and try contact any of the cust. serv. for other cell phone providers same problem) it seems to be a problem that they are trying to resolve with outsourcing . When i had a

  • I had the samsung 451c and that is on the verizon network

  • I never had that problem

  • my friends having problems with not being able to see pictures while on facebook or the internet. she said she used to be able to and now she can't and straight talk told her the phone is fine and won't help her. Anybody know how to fix this?

  • str8 talk cheated me out of more than 100 mins last month. my phone has a call timer precise to the second, they couldn't even give a reason as to why I was cut short and refused to compensate me.

  • Straight Talk Fucking suck i lost so much money..... DO NOT BUY STRAIGHT TALK!!!

  • what! i mean for me best purchase I made this year so far! I never considered Walmart would be the place I would find a great deal on cell phones, it did turn out to be true nonetheless. Straight Talk is a great money saver for anyone who needs to cut down their bills; particularly their unlimited plan is great for big talkers. I can travel with the phone or use it at home and I'm still paying the the same and no overages as others have pointed out. A great all around purchase

  • I completely disagree with this video. I am glad to see there are other folks using Straight talk also. I really do feel bad for those people who do not yet know about just how much money they could be saving with straight talk. I feel morally obligated to tell everyone I know about how much money I am saving.

  • watching this video is not the experience or service I have ever had from straighttalk. My family and I have bought over 10 various phones from straighttalk and NEVER have had any problems! At prices ranging from $35 to $45 with no contract prices, what problems? We are happy with Straighttalk.

  • I had great success with the customer service people of Facebook for Straight Talk. They responded very quickly and took care of my refill problem within minutes... no kidding. But I get great coverage with my E71 and it's a real smart phone so for $45 it's super.

  • these folks from Straight Talk gotta get it together man..this is 2010, wats up! =0l

  • Mine works perfectly, Odd.

  • I used to hate the fact that I had to keep on paying for dropped calls which was not due to my error and could not get out of the deal due to my contract. Well contract is over, service provider is Straight Talk, plan is $45 unlimited, coverage is impecible and bank balance is growing.

  • I just got the samsung R355 and it is BOSS!!! it was much cheaper than a smart phone and I get web access, mp3 player, camera, calendar, picture messaging, basically everything I need to be normal, haha. and the service with straight talk is awesome, haven't dropped a call, cause the network is verizon I think

  • @savetheworld568 – good for you. Just make sure to keep your own notes when you call customer support - they do not stand by their word. They really need to work on intercommunication skills for it seems that notes of previous conversations are constantly being lost. However, you the customer are assured that every call is logged into the system under your account and that any service rep will be able to access the information. This is not the case – buyers beware

  • @MrJessefontaine Straighttalk is a great deal. I have been with then since close to the beginning and I am very pleased.

  • I just wanted to reiterate that The problem was that I was told that Straight Talk would in fact credit my account, but, they soon denied having any notes on any of my 7 previous phone calls and they denied me a credit. The point is that the Straight Talk Company needs to improve their in-house communication skills as well as their customer relation skills for as of now they are not working together in resolving product issues and they are not taking care of their customers.

  • While I don't have this phone, I do have the LG220C on the Verizon network and I've been lucky to not have had a problem regarding coverage or the product itself. I did have many problems with my AT&T phone when I was on that network and the customer service nightmares were actually what made me stay away from contract carriers from now on. If the issue is technology, I wouldn't hold it against the company itself customer service is different though. I've been lucky and had a great ST experience

  • It also has an FM radio, but I haven't been able to use it cause you need the headset. It has a ring tone creater app too. Another con is that the phones interface is kinda laggy. Not too bad but noticeable. Overall, If the phone had better call quality, I would be very satisfied. As far as CSR with ST. They SUCK. It seems if they use a script. Cause they have no clue what they are saying or doing. But thats what you get with pre-paid. Bad CS. If I run into anymore problems, I will drop ST.

  • The 620G has Java, so you can install Java apps like Opera Mini. I did and works great. The web is very fast on this phone, both with Opera and not. It runs at EDGE speeds. Which is 2.5G. But seems like its 3G. There are 2 negs while using Opera and surfing. The first is when you go to websites, its ask you if you trust the content, is so do u want to proceed. It does that every website. Its just annoying. It also beeps every 25 secs or so. The mp3 player sound pretty good through the speaker.

  • When I got the new SIM, it took ST 18hrs to do the port. So basically I was out of a phone for 5 days. As far as the reception of the 620G, its good. Call quality is not so good. I dont know if its because its on the At&t network or the phone itself. The mp3 player sounds pretty good through the speaker. Also the voice calls sound ok through the speaker. So I am thinking its the earpiece itself. That means I have to buy another one.

  • Call quality with the 220c was excellent. The phone itself was just good for making calls and texting here and there. Thats why I upgraded to the r451c. When I upgraded from the r451c to the 620G. Surprisingly, there wasn't any issues. But when I had to return my first 620G to Walmart cause it died in a day, thats when the problems started. The CSR that did the ST to ST port. Messed up and gave me a new number instead of a port. I had to wait for a new SIM to come in the mail. 4 days it took.

  • I have been with ST for about 4 months now. At the moment I am using the LG620G phone which is the slider. The phone itself has alot of features, But call quality with it sounds muffled, or like your under water. Before I bought this LG 620G, I was using the Samsung r451c. Which is the qwerty keyboard phone that runs on the Verizon network. Call quality with that phone was alot better then this 620G. My first phone was the LG 220c. Which also runs on the Verizon network.

  • From what I know it works as a virtual provider off the Verizon network, meaning it works anywhere Verizon phones do. I also think that in trying to provide the deals they do, they may have cut costs in elements like customer service. It doesn't make it right, but the balance still favors those who haven't had similar problems. All in all I think they still provide the best value out there.

  • But it does have service on the Verizon network since that is the service provider for Straight Talk. Just go to Walmart, pick one up, and see how well it works! I recommend the 45 dollar plan for unlimited tlaking, web, and texts.
