  • Where are the jobs speaker Boehner? Unemployment has risen since you and your lot have taken over congress.

  • Congress needs to stop paying unemployment to these job dodgers and buy them one way plane tickets out of the country before we go bankrupt!

I, along with several of my republican colleagues are currently working on a plan to end unemployment permanently by attaching a provision to the next budget bill that will end unemployment for good!

  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of NBC News' Meet The Press With David Gregory's Report On Boehner: GOP Agenda Will Focus On Creating Jobs And Cutting Spending On Sunday Morning, August 8, 2010.

  • John is the one to watch out for in 2011

  • I just don't like Boner. He looks like a drunken chain smoker. A walking hangover.

  • Boy was he dodging the question during about the 7 minute mark. He should be in sports how well he dodges.

  • Fuck you Boehner you fucking Cry Baby! Cry for us you little drunkard bitch, lets see some tears!

  • When the left whines about jobs being shipped overseas they need to stop and think maybe their class warfare "stick it to the rich" policies are responsible for it. China is about to buy a stake in GM and if you think they're going to go for that union bullshit you got another thing coming. They have engineers with masters degrees working on their assembly lines for a lot less, and Obama has been all over Asia working hard to sell your jobs out.

  • @dud3man6969 Mr. Obama went to China to discuss the import/export imbalance and the devaluation of the yuan among other things. Sending jobs to China or anywhere else in Asia NEVER entered the topic of discussion. I will agree that Mr. Obama is soft, but sending jobs to China, that is straight BS. CEOs of large corporations are trying to find ways to increase profit margin. Taking advantage of cheap labor pools appears to be a feasible solution(fuck unemployed Americans).

  • @dud3man6969 My friend....devaluation - A deliberate downward adjustment to a country's official exchange rate relative to other currencies. When a nation devalues its currency, the goods it imports become more expensive, while its exports become less expensive abroad and thus more competitive.... That is why Mr. Obama went to China. This shit didn't just start happening under his watch. He is simply trying to end it,

  • @dud3man6969 Class warfare? Which side keeps attacking union members?

Obama is selling our jobs? How about giant multinational corporations who export jobs and import products from other countries? Who has more to gain by exporting workers, obama or businesses?

  • This shit about "paying for tax cuts" really pisses me off. It's based on a totally false premise and it's just used to divide people and make them hate "the rich". I only make about 50,000 a year, but there's no way I'm going to hate "the rich" like these bastards want me to. Rich people spend and lot of money and when they do we all get paid. Letting rich people keep the money they make and spend it or invest it themselves is the most effective way to "redistribute" the wealth anyway.

  • @dud3man6969 I believe that entrepreneurs and innovators alike should be rewarded for contributing to the well being of the national economy, but greed should not be overlooked. Apple has taken advantage of cheap labor in China. Most Americans that have purchased an iPhone have no idea as to where the phone was produced. CHINA(why not in America)??? This is some shameful shit man.

  • ...and how does the GOP plan to bring the deficit down? A massive tax cut for the rich. Sorry, but its well documented that Reagan doubled the deficit. Tax cuts never do the opposite...

  • Comment removed

  • holy fuck i love boehner but he needs to cut down on the tanning

  • However good is sounds to raise taxes for the rich and big companies, companies will just cut jobs to compensate. Which is completely counter productive...how are these idiots not getting this? The private sector is about making money, so If you charge them more money from taxing the only way for them to continue with their budgets is to cut spending...aka JOBS.

  • John Boehner, has had 8 terms, and he acts like nothing has been his fault.

It is all blamed on the Dems, Just like the Dems blame everything on Bush.

If these assclowns cared for the country they would slash their own saleries to match what the private sector has gone through. TELL ME WHAT PARTY CARES FOR AMERICA, NOT JUST THEIR DAMPARTY, AND THEIR OWN POCKET.

  • @NoBalanceJustBull Congress actually "voted" recently on raising their salaries. I think like 2 people voted against it.... a very small number of people. I think that their salaries should be put to a popular vote. Whats even worse is that once they because a member of Congress, they are paid for life. Even if they only serve one day, they get full Congressional pay for the rest of their lives.

  • BOENER is another Republican LIAR!!! Their new Pledge is thew same old PLAGUE!!!

  • Sun Tan Johnny looks like a wax Dummy. Mr. Plastic has the Sophist act down just enough to fool the unenlightned T-party Palin crowd. The man is a whore, a prostitute, selling himself to Corporate interest. The Koch brothers have gotten their monies worth and then some with fun time johny boy.

  • he just got bitch slapped. If you're gonna preach fiscal responsibility, do it!

  • I wonder how they do it. How is it they are able to hide the horns on his head? I suppose they tease and gel his hair just so, and keep them filed down just enough to hide them.

  • What an ingenuous man. He's so adept at lying i'm impressed. He evaded the question FOUR TIMES and made the interviewer relent and change the topic. I just learned how to lie better after watching this. OF COURSE THE TAX CUTS CAN'T PAY FOR THEMSELVES, HE'S SO BLATANTLY LYING AND EVADING THE QUESTION AND PEOPLE KEEP ELECTING HIM? WTF?

  • The very first thing Boner, Ryan and the rest of the right wing clan will do if they get the majority will be to CUT TAXES FOR THE WEALTHY! Just like Bush did. How's that trickle down economics working for you? Suckers!

  • Hey John, Isn't it a little early to be hitting the bottle on a Sunday?

  • @RWRamo - looks like you don't know your history.

  • @ThreeLeggedBandit Thoes Reich Wingers make up or re-write history as they go along. Newt Gingrich is very good at it being a former history professor. Look at Gov. Haley Barber and his recollection of segregation at old Miss.

  • My history records show the job growth and economy self growth stopped as soon as Nancy Pelosi sat down with a drooling leer promised to make business pay for all those easy years. Followed by 9 months of corporate barracade building by clearing out dusty corners of 401 builders that really served no purpose.

  • I have hard this from Republicans (and other versions of it from Democrats) for the last thirty years ... they are ALL full of you know what! The corporate and banking entities who really run this government have corrupted the whole system. Period. Paragraph. People, wake up.

  • And I need oil for my face to remain orange!!

  • Someone should tell Boner, Ryan and the rest of that right wing clan that there's a middle class in this country and they need help! Maybe they could for one minute stop being yes men for the wealthy elite and give a damn about the rest of America!

  • @unclelight actually, Paul Ryan's roadmap plan really helps the middle class, it does not hurt them.

  • And they say the members of the "lamestream" media only ask these guys softball questions. I watched this live on the Sunday it aired and couldn't believe David Gregory had the guts to keep grilling Boehner (Bay-ner) over that question. In short, Boehner's a tool, and still hasn't answered the question...

  • @Vetwolf13 The tax cuts are working out great for me, And when the repubs take over in Nov., they will be renewed. How are they working out for you?

  • I wish Boehner had the balls to pronounce his name right. Other than that, he is just another corporate/government hybrid tool and like all of them he talks a good line while he fucks your wife.

  • Obama signs bill to aid the manufacturing industry

Helping 'reduce and suspend tariffs on materials that they import to make their products'...

Me: This is a good start... But ONLY a start...

  • To MAINTAIN JOBS you must STOP 'imposing higher taxes on U.S. companies’ foreign profits.'

These foreign profits help to keep companies afloat and to pay for their employees health care... You take this away and you take away Mom's hidden cookie jar fund... You put the family on the street in hard economic times when Dad is out of work or can get limited work...

  • Ballmer Says Tax Would Move Microsoft Jobs Offshore

    Bloomberg

    By Ryan J. Donmoyer - June 3, 2009 16:12 EDT

Microsoft Corp. Chief Executive Officer Steven Ballmer said the world’s largest software company would move some employees offshore if Congress enacts President Barack Obama’s plans to impose higher taxes on U.S. companies’ foreign profits.

  • (cont.)

“It makes U.S. jobs more expensive,” Ballmer said in an interview. “We’re better off taking lots of people and moving them out of the U.S. as opposed to keeping them inside the U.S.” Obama on May 4 proposed outlawing or restricting about $190 billion in tax breaks for offshore companies over the next decade.

  • Me: You create jobs, by cutting taxes for new upstart business' and or business that create more jobs during these hard economic times. You create jobs by doing as the state of Kansas Gov. is doing by loosening laws that go against certain business, by not taxing companies as well their 'machines/employees' of their trade, and regulation which is unfair and reduces costs that those machines/people can make...

  • (cont.)

As well with the machine tax, these companies are taxed by the # of employees they have. So in some senses the more employees they put to work, the MORE they are taxed. Do you see why these things could be changed in which would make some business' come back from over-seas and or to states that can help their business' grow? These are just some of the ways...

  • New Health Care Tax Credit Helps Small Employers...

Me: Why can't a 'tax credit' on the # of employees a company puts to work, in which spurs the economy, be a 'tax credit' as well? The more they employ the larger the credit. But unlike the Obama 'Healthcare law tax credits' for small companies make this tax credit for all companies new and old, small or large... Gives them incentive to grow and put people to work...

  • Why would you put this up here? It makes you look terrible. You refused to directly answer a simple question put to you, while saying you wouldn't play the usual Washington game and parroting the usual talking points. That's called playing the usual Washington game. Asked a direct question, it is your duty as a representative of the people of your state to give a direct answer. If you cannot do that, sir, then perhaps it's time you were replaced as a Representative.

  • This guy knows what he is talking about!

  • @caromel69 if you mean by saying nothing but talking for 2 minutes straight, you are correct!

  • If tax cuts create revenue and jobs, how come only 3 million jobs were gained over 8 years of Bush? Just answer the question! hmmmm22 million jobs gained in 8 years of Clinton, 3 million during Bush! And you got your tax cuts! Where the hell are the jobs?

  • Nothing the government does is ever paid for. Tax cuts create more revenue to the government, raising taxes does not.

  • So...the tax cuts are clearly not paid for...lmfao.

  • John Boehner certainly showed his true colors today: orange, orange, and orange.

This guy is an asshole. I hope the American people see through this bullshit and vote this man out of office. Talk about taking advantage of your position! This man sees his job as a way to get perks and live the good life, instead of being a public servant and serving the people!!

  • I'd like to see his birth certificate. Under race, would it say "orange" ?

  • What a boner!!!

This asshole has no shame, he wants tax cuts for the wealthy and make the rest of us pay by working till we are 70yo.

I think this guy spends too much time in the tanning bed that's why his brain is toasted!

  • oh how little you have changed, republicans.

  • Both the government and big corporations have proved that they only care about themselves and they can't take care of the middle class. So, lets get rid of both for a start. Eliminate the politicians and corporate executives. You can tax everybody 100% and it wouldn't raise enough money to pay for the military. There isn't enough money in print to ever pay off the deficit. It is all a big ponzi scheme.

  • Why can't this idiot just answer the question, "Do tax cut pay for themselves or are they borrowed money?"! Doesn't this idiot understand the English language?

  • Studies have shown that we can cut the deficite by up to $126 billion if we cut funding to John Boehners tanning products.

  • Gregory asked him 3 TIMES if he believed tax cuts for the rich pay for themselves and like always Republicans can not just give a simple yes or no..Do they pay for themselves? Its a simple question...John you are a fool and a liar like most republicans...And what is up with the him looking like a burnt orange?

Talking about bringing dems and repubs together???? How can you help anyone come together when you cannot even answer a simple question?

  • Where are the jobs? Mexico, India, China...I guess Texas billionaire Ross Perot was right about NAFTA. That was a bold step in securing a North American Union.

  • Boner is Orange, drunk and a dumb son of a bitch.

  • He looks like an extra orange orangutan, I don't understand how he could possibly think he looks even remotely good. It's even embarrassing for other people...good god..

  • No more anchor baby's!

  • This is off topic but I need help. I have been cloned and I am very angry. If it takes me 100 years I will tear this page down. I would appreciate it if all of you would help me. I am 99% sure who did this and I am taking legal action. I will see to it this person is deported to Alaska. I demand that youtube help me take this hideous page down or I will sue.

  • New Contract w/America

    1) Term Limits 3-4 for House members 2-3 for Senators

    2) Every representative take a 50 % paycut including the president

    3) Every gov't employee take a significant paycut

    4) SS reform

    5) Border Security

    6) ObamaCare repeal and replace with an actual market based solution

It shouldnt be hard to get a majority in every state to agree on these.

  • @TheUnitedStatists The only thing that I agree with in your proposal is #2. But I would go beyond your 50% and suggest that all representatives get paid the federal minimum wage and with no benefits just like most American citizens.

  • @TheUnitedStatists how about we just stop giving everyone corporate welfare thru creating wars and financial ponzi schemes. Cutting social programs is not smart. But getting out of war IS. And by the way. Social security was sound and had a surplus. But Clinton emptied it out. Any president deserves to have a good salary but does not deserve to have the ability to create a company and use the presidency to fund it (BUSH).

  • does the host not understand taxable income elasticity? more taxes does not equal more tax revenue.

  • @anryth Neither does NOT taxing the wealthy. All the gov would have to do is make the tariff higher than what they are now. Most industrial countries pay nothing to import their crap. If the gov made them much higher, then american companies could compete. Making our products more desirable. Remember the 50's and 60's. All this importation was unheard of then. And our economy was stronger.

  • Mr Boehner brings a lot of authority with him. I always enjoy listening to him. He has great judgment.

  • @ERICRIPPER1

Just so you'll know SOMETHING that's worthwhile, congress CAN write new immigration law, & they do it all the time. Quite often, they grant individual citizenship, or to entire groups as well.

That's what Ronald Reagan & congress did when they passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

That Act requires stronger enforcement activity. But congress & most presidents since then have all but ignored that part of the legislation, for purely lawless political reasons.

  • @justtex1975

You know i thought i would leave this alone, but cite your soucre the last time congress ratified any immigration law since 1986? I'm not an Immigration lawyer, but is ask you to please "ENLIGHTEN me....If anything Republicans believe in lawless. never followed up on the 1986 ACT..nice try

  • @ERICRIPPER1

Nothing, absolutely NOTHING, trumps the United States Constitution. No statute, regulation or law.

The 14th Amendment was enacted after many long debates, & the authors repeatedly assured the nation it wouldn't lead to so called birthright citizenship.

The 14th Amendment has just as much force as any other part of the US Constitution. And the record is clear.

    That's called ~reality~.

So accept it & get over it, or try to Amend the Constitution yourself, if you can.

  • the 14th amendant was ratified in 1868. Your statement is a bit misleading. Until legislation is placed into into law, "NEITHER" party can be held responsible. Let's remember, (Reagan fatithfuls), Reagan granted amnesty... NOW...you want to change your postion... WHY... Republicans have no game!!!

  • @ERICRIPPER1

I'm not "hating on" anyone. I'm just telling it like it is. That's called ~reality~.

And the ~reality~ is the debates of the 14th Amendment within the congressional record, show that the authors of the Amendment NEVER intended for it to apply to non-US foreign citizens.

That's why children of foreign diplomats don't automatically become US citizens, even though they were born here. They ARE citizens of the country their parents came from.

    And that's the bottom line.

  • @justtex1975

diplomatic law is a separate than immigration law. You are aware of than right?

  • @locolobo1

You just don't get it, do you?!

Over 60% of people ~earning~ "250K+" are small business owners, & that's their entire take! It's NOT just their profits!

Those small business owners WILL BE FORCED to pass on ANY additional expenses, including all NEW TAXES, directly to their customers!

    That's you & me, fool!

Those NEW taxes will be passed along EVERY step, from the manufacturer, to the distributor, to the wholesaler, to the retailer, to us!

And we'll end up paying it all!

  • @justtex1975 What you fail to understand is that we dont just need to increase taxes. We also need to increase tariffs on imports. That in-combination will help bring down the deficit and grow jobs.

  • @newave123456

Do you know ANYTHING about economics?

    Or, about history??

If you knew one damn thing, you'd know your dumb idea is precisely the fastest way to turn a bad recession, into another Great Depression.

Look up the "Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act".

Then go sit face first in the corner, & wear a pointed hat for the rest of the day.

  • @justtex1975 Yes I do. And I know that when the US was had the strongest economy was when we had high tariffs and when we had the STRONGEST MANUFACTURING BASE IN THE WOLRD. If you read a history book you would know it too. The US gov. (after its founding) made all of its money from tariffs. Not from taxing people. Then slowly began to change those policies. And NO, not everyone has good intentions. Buchanan, Reagan, clinton and soooo many more did things they knew was wrong for themselves.

  • @newave123456

The world & the US has changed since our Founding. We were so rich in natural resources, that we could provide so cheaply worldwide, & all forms of our govt were tiny, less than 1% of today.

Now, our govt's over-regulate, are HUGE, unionized, & make TWICE that of the private sector.

We don't have a monopoly on cheap anything, & we've priced ourselves out of the labor markets.

Did you bother to look up the Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act?

It started a trade war & Great Depression!

  • David G said it clearly, President Obama wants to let the tax breaks for 250K+ folks expire and continue them for everyone else, But Boehner keeps twisting it to say Obama wants to raise everyone's taxes. Boehner's really looking out for corporate America and we're supposed to hope they throw us a bone. I think John B. showed his true colors today.

  • @locolobo1: Bullshit. The Democrats want to roll back ALL of Bush's tax cuts, for every tax bracket. Additionally, they've minimized or completely eliminated many deductions, including the child tax credit.

In addition to income taxes, Democrats support Cap & Trade which makes everyone's electric & gas bills skyrocket ... they support VAT ... they support oil/gas & corporate tax increases which, as anyone knows, is passed on to everyone, including the poor.

    Wake up

  • @2010GOP Cap and trade sucks and that is where I part ways with the democrats. But on every other issue the repubs are wrong. Sorry.

  • @newave123456 Cap and trade is what McCain and Palin ran on during their campaign. Not against it, FOR it. The Republicans only became against it when the Democrats decided to read a compromise, because it was politically expedient to do so. Like the mandate on health care, it was the cornerstone of McCain's debate talking points on health care. HE proposed it. Obama was opposed to it. Democrats capitulated, and the Republicans tried the usual revisionist history game.

  • @MarkRosengarten I dont disagree with your point but most of the repub party are against cap and trade. Not for the reasons I am but that does'nt matter. People think cap and trade is a good and on the surface it makes sense. But if you look deeper you will see it is not. All it would do is allow bigger companies to eat up little companies because only they could afford to pay for their carbon footprint. I dont think we need cap and trade, we need to get rid of fossil fuels altogether.

  • @MarkRosengarten And yes he does not know that this footage makes him look silly. But then again intelligence is lacking in politics now a days. It is ashame that our lack of intellectualism can be seen in every aspect of our lives.

  • my last comment folks..why you people hating on immigrates?? You more than likely have hired them, use them in your businesses & I must say you big republicans need them to be exploited!!! Really how are you going to deport 12 million people. Talk about increasing the deficit... Republicans talk a big game. period!

  • with all due respect, if you do not speak with a south of the border accent, then why would our tanned family care? Really??? How would you feel if your family spoke wit h a south of border accent. Let's be real here..(it's spanish speaking people!!!) I really think your position would be a bit different.. Have you ever spoke to a first generation spanish immigrate?? Probably not...Unitl you have walk in the shoes of your brother?? I hope you well. God bless!

  • lol boehner......boner.....

  • @hazilo303

You're right! While Greenspan was in charge of the fed, he & everyone saw the housing bubble building, under Bill Clinton's & then Bush 43's push to expand Jimmy Carter's CRA (Community Reinvestment Act of 1977).

But Bush saw the light early, & asked congress to address those problems 17 times altogether.

But Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Chris Dodd & a lot of other Democrats bottled Bush's proposed reforms up in committee, for years!

And even now, they still won't fix it!

  • @justtex1975 Jimmy Carter really wanted what was best for America. But his execution was misguided. Everyone hates on Jimmy Carter... Why? He wanted to free us from dependency on oil, help all americans get homes. His housing policy was executed wrong but I truly believe that he tried to do what was right. Now Clinton is a whole nutha' story.

  • @newave123456

I'm not sure who's a more ignorant damn fool?!

    You, or Jimmy Carter?!

Carter not only was a hard headed dunce, but he also thought (just like O-Bummer does now) he could change human nature by his mere presence & charm.

Without a doubt, he was the biggest fool & worst failure, to ever occupy the White House.

Btw, every despot, & every worthless damn fool, to ever lead people in this world, naturally thought they were doing the right thing, despite doing exactly the opposite.

  • Great job Leader Boehner!

And, regarding the so called "anchor baby" issue, anyone who has studied the debates surrounding the 14th Amendment know that it was never intended to apply to foreign nationals.

That's why children of foreign diplomats don't automatically become US citizens. And that's why children of illegal immigrants have no right to citizenship as well.

We either live under rule of law, or we live under lawlessness.

Clearly, the Leftist are supporting lawlessness!

    Again!!

  • Greenspan? It happens under his watch that the US jeopardized the US economy by keeping the interest rates artificial low. I can't just understand why those morons still talking about "paid for"! All those idiotic agency programs, entitlement programs bridges to nowhere and monuments for RHINOS of both parties must be stopped immediately!!!!! If the federal government is cut back to it's Constitutional Power and the rest is taken care of local, we don't need the trillion dollars.

  • GO TO UTUBE-EVERYBODY PLEASE AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS AS WELL.YOU MUST SEE CLIP ''''' THE OBAMA DECEPTION ''''''' It is the one that is 2 hours, you must see this. The FEDERAL RESERVE,if you don't know is a PRIVATE BANK OWNED BY THE WORLD BANKS. THE FED.IS NOT GOVERNMENT OWNED.THEY ORCHESTRATED THIS COLLAPSE AROUND THE WORLD TO BUY UP ASSETS.NOW UNDER OBAMA THE FED. CAN TAKE OVER ANY BANK OR BUSINESS AS SEIZE THEIR ASSETS !!!!! THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE 1933 ,TAKING SOVEREIGNTY AWAY

  • The North American Union is why they have not closed the borders.Bush started this plan as part of the New World Order.Canada,America and Mexico as one country with no borders.Let's hope to God this does not happen or we will have all those vicious killers mingling here in our country LEGALLY ! We have got to get Republicans in control of Congress ! Darrell Issa has a slew of subpoenas just waiting. He is going after OBAMA AND HIS CZARS.OBAMA IS A PUPPET TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY FOR THE WORLD BANKS

  • Rep. Boehner is right, the Democrats have done nothing to help the economy. All they've done is spend trillions of dollars on wasteful, unnecessary government spending programs, increase the size of government and quadruple the deficit, all while raising the unemployment level to almost 10%. Failed liberal extremist policies will NEVER create jobs or help the economy. We have to give the GOP back the Majority in November if we want to see job growth, end wasteful spending and lower the deficit.

  • @taylorbrett44 John Boehner was a democrat?

  • @GENMVINER He obviously woke up.

  • @GENMVINER I think Taylorbrett44 is basically saying that he personally is an idiot and he's right.. LOL

  • @taylorbrett44 "A democRAT for 20 years who decided overnight to change parties because his idol (Hillary Clinton) lost to Obama."

    What are you talking about?

  • @Newssnoop I'd like to know too haha

  • Here's my question to the liberals out there. Will the tax increases bring in more revenue? And if you say yes, then you have no idea who creates the jobs in this country.

And for that Greenspan guy, I remember that idiot crying 10 years ago about how we cannot possibly run a surplus, that we should not run a surplus. He cried about how it would hurt the bond market or some stupid thing like that; typical NWO banker.

  • anchor babies as they say that is going to a very slippery slope??? I hope your party the best on this one...

  • then why did the Arizona bill not address border securtiy??? In the "REAL" world, we all know brown skinned people would be harassed. I could care less about what the actuall law states... the real world and theory are light years apart.. sorry..

  • ERICRIPPER1 ....i have family members who TAN UP ...browner than bark in the summer and if asked? .......we can and will produce a birth certificate or SS# (that matches the state we were born in) ...and any and all "papers" the current law re-qwires! Color? ....no body cares! ..This is about CURRENT LEGAL PAPERWORK! (that any paper expert is welcome to ~lookover... and that is somethin ObamaBinLyin don't care to dicuss any further!.... and me thinks me knows why! = ..... LOL!

  • my intent , as you have obviously misconstrued, is to point out why immigrates come to this country. How do we get from immigrates having children being born in this country to symbolism of Lady Liberty??? Now, if you want to debate the symbolism of "Lady Liberty" we can do that too! A typical Republican, hi-jack the topic...???

  • Dochebag,,, any ideas where this quote is from??? "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free".. Again, this is why immigrates come to this country...Don't recall anything about children. Any party that goes after

children really will need to think of the "LONG-TERM" consequences!!!

  • @ERICRIPPER1 - Yes, that's on the wall of the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, but it's not on the statue itself. It's a poem written by an American woman, the winning entry in a contest to help fund the Statue of Liberty.

Now, do you care to enlighten me on the symbolism of the Statue of Liberty? I bet you have this one wrong, too.

  • @ERICRIPPER1 - As for Immigration, first, you have to close the borders. That's step one. Step two is going after those employers, and turning the job market hostile to illegals. They will self-deport at that point.

I believe in getting rid of the 14th amendment which is the provision under which anchor babies are granted citizenship. The child should have the citizenship status of the mother. If the mother is illegal, the child should be shipped back with them.

  • Create jobs by staying away from the market. No benefits for these or those.

Cut spending? Stop sending billions overseas.

  • Why is it Republicans refuse to address holding employers accountable for hiring so-called illegal immigrates? Ignoring this issue continues to increase the bottom line of businesses. Immigrates come to this country for jobs you douchbag. Having a child born in this country is a by-product ..John WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU SPOKE TO AN IMMIGRATE??. By the way douchebag(John B.) you never answered the tax cut question in regards to increasing the deificit..Spoken like a career politician!Doubletalk

  • Is his last name STILL not Boner? He disappoints me.

  • the stimulus isn't working? I just bought a wood stove, tankless water heater and new windows making full use of the $1,500 tax credit

  • He was holding his buddies accountable! They have elections to win and giving away the plan will hurt the party I guess. Right?

  • Boehner was not at his A-game today.

He should immediately dispell the Left's talking points such as "the rich" when talking about small business owners formed as sole-proprietorships and representing atbout 75% of those that the Left accuses (that's really the word here) to be "rich," they are the employers and ones who will make or break our recovery in this country.

The subsequent growth, reimbusement of what's left of TARP and spending cuts will take care of the current deficits.

  • Rep. Tom Ryan from Wisconsin does a much better job explaining Republican economic policies than Rep. Boehner.

  • Senator - you did a very poor job in this interview. I totally dislike the demo-craps but you should be able to explain why tax cuts increase revenue. You also need to look at your stance on SS. How about there are 401k type plans started for younger folks and the fed keep their hands off the SS funds and stop using them for other purposes.

I like you Senator but you must work on your presentation skills. It seems lots of Republicans can not explain their stances.

  • @1Tarz He's not a Senator.

  • Mr. Boehner, I wish you would be more resolute in your determinations. Even as a Republican that supports you, I wish you would tell it like it is. You really did side stepped his questions. Why?

  • Mr. Boehner, What the private sector needs is less government and less bureaucracy You and the rest of the 103rd Congress gave unlimited power to N.A.F.T.A., that was either a monumental mistake or insidious attack on our sovereignty, why can't you repeal N.A.F.T.A.?

As for Boehner it sounds like he understands in hard economic times when the economy is teetering on the edge, you don't install more taxes on the public. Because it WILL send the economy into that 'double dip' downward that John was referring to...

I feel John has the safer route for this country on this issue of the economy...

  • Alan Greenspan or John Boehner... Whom understands a healthy economy better?

I know Greenspan was at the helm of controlling the economy over many years where large corporations failed and where investor $ were lost, like Enron... As well what about all these banks that had to be bailed out recently? Think Greenspan had any blame in some of that?

  • @2222554 Did you really just say you think John Boehner understands the economy better than Alan Greenspan?

  • @noahbox Did I say that? I don't think i went that far. i believe that is you reading into my words... I did however say, in a sense, that Boehner understands that by not creating jobs and by not fixing the debt problem that the economy will have a 'double dip' in which will send this country into a 'depression' instead of a 'recession' in which it's in. That Greenspan seems to not understand, or am I off here?

  • Greenspan seems to levitate on and around what the actual interest rate % is set at. I don't believe he see's things in a larger sense on the issue of a 'double dip'...

  • @2222554 Greenspan is worried that by not raising taxes, the debt problem will get significantly worse. Boehner is not fixing the debt problem, he is making it worse.

The natural bent for career-politicians is to promise jobs, benefits, or tax cuts before election time. Boehner is promising all three. This is unrealistic at best. How do you create jobs, cut taxes, and increase benefits at the same time without spiraling deeper into debt? He dodges this question three times in the interview.

  • @noahbox Boehner understands fully. You must not...

You: 'How do you create jobs, cut taxes, increase benefits at the same time'?

  • And the reason he, Boehner, 'dodged the question three times is because the second that he explains how it is able to be accomplished, the Obama and left grab it and implement it then when results are seen will boldly take the credit for it as if it was their idea. THATS WHY!

  • @2222554 I have absolutely no idea what your wall of text has to do with this video. The tax cuts that were put in place were done so on borrowed money. The borrowed money is still borrowed. Suggesting that borrowing more money will somehow "fix the debt problem" is... ridiculous at best. Is this such a difficult concept?
