What's scary is that it had been raining all day but when the bolt hit, the trees caught fire & were burning bluish-white. There should be at the very least a fuse on (each of) the Transformer primary coil(s, is that 1 phase or 3 phase?), a breaker at the head end, and arcing horns at every pylon (and that's just basic common sense, I were to open a book, there'd probably be way more).
