@gunz4gunz : Probably not the coffee. Dr. HK Choi (the doctor mentioned in the video) conducted a study in 2007 that looked at uric acid and coffee drinking. The conclusion was that coffee consumption is associated with lower serum uric acid level and hyperuricemia frequency, but tea consumption is not. So coffee is good, tea is bad. Also, it wasn't the caffeine in the coffee but other compounds in it that were beneficial.

In order to balance it out the body begins to urinate (diuretic effect) in order to flush out the area. This then dehydrates your system, concentrating toxic substances and waste – resulting in solidification uric acid. Also keep in mind that some unripe fruits have high tannin levels. Im a vegetarian for 30 years and have gout - but drink lots of tea and coffee- maybe thats why I have it?
