  • why do people talk bad about obama? hell he's making my house payments buying my gas, cutting my grass, triming the hedges , painting the garage, getting my smoke.and comes over every sunday for fried chicken,it;s finger lickin good.

  • S.A. You missed the mark on this one. Its not that the war on drugs is stupid its how they are fighting the war on drugs, that is the problem. Our government has set up a system where it amplified the drug problem by pretending to fight it with no intensions eliminating drugs. What I have noticed is a shift in ideology, from drugs are bad and something to be avoided, shifted to drug users are victims of illness and we should do anything to tolerate and support them.

  • fuck america israel rules

  • without america, isreal does not exist. so i guess you're welcome.

  • Some of these anti-marijuana people are rediculous. In my state, they just legalized marijuana for medical use, and tons of people had a shit fit. They ncomplained that "doctors will be the new drug dealera" even though they already were. No one seems to care when people in pain recieve Morphine, Delodin, Vicodin and others, but when someone suggests Marijuana, which is way less powerful and way way less addictive than any of those, it's all of a sudden a big deal.

  • People die all the time taking drugs suggested by a doctor who has been paid to suggest and push these dangerous, new, and rediculously expensive drugs.

Marijuana has never killed anyone. The Rx drug producers and the feds hate it cause you can make your own and they dont get paid.

  • Damn right. Drugs are like firearms in that they only have bad effects if they are in the wrong hands at the wrong time. It is not the crack rock or the glock that kills but the person using it. Why blame the items used in such events? Why not put the responsibility onto the individual, where it belongs?

  • as usual, another great video from the southern avenger. always intelligent, always educational, and always correct with his opinions! ron paul 2012!

  • Look how many people would be out of a job ? How will the CIA fund its black ops ? Make drugs worthless you're going to put the nice evil people out of business.

  • alcahol is much more dangerous than marijuana. I can smoke 10 joints and drive from here to Texas. If I were to have 10 drinks and drive yall better watch out. Ive never heard of anyone dying from smokin marijuana. Ive never taken a fat girl home cause id been smokin marijuana.

  • Drugs ought to be legalized in certain parts of the US, as should many other things. Nature will decide which laws succeed, and who lives or dies over it.

  • Excellent. More great work.

  • Nice job SA. You nailed it.

A good End cannot sanctify evil Means; nor must we ever do Evil, that Good may come of it-William Penn

  • Everybody knows the CIA is the biggest dope dealer in the world. Gotta keep those prices artifically high.

  • Take a look at Amesterdam at the consquences of legalization of drugs. This is ridiculous. Legalizing drugs would open a pandoras box of problems. You dope heads need to be happy with what you have and do your thing behind closed doors.

  • Weed is the only one that need to be legal....everyday FDA sanctioned westernized pill form drugs are recalled for extreme side effects that cause organs shutdown and death....thousands of years of people using weed have shown ZERO negative side effects...this drug is only illegal because Nixon changed it's classification in order to have a way to arrest "Hippies"....the "stamp act" was set up to get rid of illegal's in the southwest...prohibition has never been about the drug but rather racism

  • The war on common sense....

that is what politics is man...you nailed it...this is a war on common sense

  • Ironic, if you were to legalize production of alot of drugs in this country, you'd cut off the funding for alot of terrorist organizations, by allowing someone HERE to make the profit instead.

These laws were held in place for a reason... unfortunately, it wasn't in any American's best interest... but that's rather common now, isn't it?

  • Thanks for the info.

at this point all we can do is to inform others. The days of brainwashing are over. Now a real patriot will do everything to inform others and let them know that America as we know it has not existed for the past 100 years or so.

This is another trick to pour money in those few pockets who own our government and hate us and hate humanity.

    For more info watch

Jack Otto and Jordan Maxwell videos , they are good start too.

  • Finnally you made a video about this!!! The War on Drugs is a war on freedom.

  • Penn & Teller: Bullshit! did an episode on the War on Drugs.

  • you're sounding more like a centrist than a conservative

  • He actually sounds like the real paleo-conservative! He is a true classical liberal! He is a constitutionalist on this basis and I agree with what he is saying. A centrist? That is what McCain is. Obama is just as bad.

  • aww , some one has a CRUSH ON THE SOUTHERN A VENGER

  • LOL, I'll laugh it off! He does him some great points and I agree with what he has to say. We'll end it there, a peaceful government conversation.

  • who are you talking to?

  • Vandall, every conservative and every liberal have things that they are conservative about and things that they are liberal about. He spoke in terms of a report about drugs vs. alchol, yet he could extend the war on common sense to a much broader aspect in nearly every facet of politics

  • A centrist is someone who does not share Ambition in strong political views either way. Like undecided voters who have ruined this countrys political system. You should check out more of his videos.

  • Avenger, you never disappoint.

  • The harm that illegal drugs do comes mostly from the fact that they are illegal. They're cut with toxic crap. Their strength is unknown, making overdose more likely. They're expensive, leading to crime to fund habits. Heroin users stretch it by drinking alcohol at the same time, a combination far more likely to lead to death than either alone. There are drive-by shootings. Those caught for using drugs have lives wrecked by prison sentences.

    Legalize all of them.

  • Actually, drugs like coke, et al are cheaper now than when they were legal in the US. Since they are illegal distributers with grievances with eachother have no legal way to deal with eachother so they end up doing drive by's. Decriminalize drugs and this problem will go away.

  • Decriminalization will NOT make the problems go away. All it will do is reduce some of the harm done to users. Quality won't improve. Price won't improve. Jail will still happen if you have to resort to crime to feed your expensive habit. There will still be lots of money to be made by drug lords, corrupts pols and corrupt cops.

Only legalization fixes the problems. Well, the ending of prohibition didn't prevent liver damage and the end of the WoD won't end coke's inherent bad effects.

  • If you legalize as opposed to decriminalize that implies sanction and approval of their use. I don't approve but I don't think it should be a crime to use, manufacture, more, or sell. You didn't say how legalizing will improve those problems vice decriminalizing.

  • Tobacco and alcohol are legal yet governments around the world try to discourage their use.

Decriminalizing for personal use leaves all the other steps in the chain making lots of money by selling drugs at black-market prices. This leads to drive-bys, gang wars and corruption (maybe pols wouldn't be as likely to become corrupt over all sorts of things were it not for the temptation of big drug money).

Decriminalizing leaves it to cop discretion too. That can be abused too.

  • True, but thats pretty much the way it is now anyways. I think that if it was decriminalized companies would step up and sell products of their own. If the businesses wanted to be competitive it could in theory drive the prices down and put the gangs out of business. I think it would happen much like the end of alcohol prohibition where it was no longer profitable for the mobs and you didnt have to go to someone shady to buy their product.

  • Decriminalizing all steps is nice in theory but it has never happened in practise. In practise decriminalization applies only to users, almost never to distributors (Amsterdam's coffee shops are the notable except) and never to bulk manufacturers (Amsterdam coffee shops don't grow more cannabis than they sell in the shop).

The only way to fix all the problems caused by drugs being illegal is to make them legal. They will still (like alcohol) have intrinsic negative effects but that's minor.

  • I think that it is obvious that there is no perfect solution. I also think that there are less bad solutions as well as worse ones. Keeping them illegal is the worst.

  • Support HR5843 "To eliminate most Federal penalties for possession of marijuana for personal use, and for other purposes".

  • great video

  • As usual, SA, you are right on target.

    Frank

  • Yea! I'd much rather have a state governer who smokes pot as opposed to selling senate seats.

  • You want a boost in the economy? Shine a light on the black market! Anheuser Busch, Miller, and Coors are practically institutions in this country. Why can't some sort of weed-producing company become the same?

All that money going to Colombia right now could stay here. Just legalize and privatize the business of drugs. Hell, drug use would probably decline because the allure of 'sticking it to the man' would go away. And all these cartels would be forced to go legit or go away.

  • Politics in America, don't you just Love it?

  • The overwhelming majority of Americans on welfare, drugs and in prison are WHITE!!!!

Wake up White People!! White POWER!

  • If the majority of Americans on drugs are white, shouldn't you be saying "white powder"?

Yes, it was a dumb joke, but I don't think anyone else was going to say it. Sacrifices, folks. :-)

Really now, does race matter in this? Regardless who's in the majority, the opinion shouldn't change.

  • I am not a drug user and I have never been one. I don't even drink coffee, much less alcohol. I don't want my daughter to use drugs or drink either. But, let us get real, we experimented with prohibition in the early 20th century and it didn't work then. Why does anyone think it will work now? Anyone remember what Santayana said? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

  • The War on Drugs is a massive failure in ending drug use and preventing gangs from gaining control of drug cartels, but it has been great for the bureaucrats who have demagogued the issue to allow themselves to perpetuate the wars and reap all the benefits.

  • i love weed. it is really not that bad, it is softer than alcohol

  • Jack: Like war profiteering, the war on drugs is a billion dollar industry. This time how ever its all about the bureaucrats stealing taxpayers money and how to stay busy and and look important. Imagine how many law enforcement officers of all levels, Judges, prison guards and even administrators will be out of a job if they stopped with this nonsense. Imagine how drug cartels would be out of a job if it was legal. I bet the cartels are behind all of this nonsense in the first place.

  • I love Ethan Nadelmann. He's an awesome advocate for the anti-drug war effort and a great speaker. I hate when people use government studies to "prove" that the drug war is working or exaggerate the threat of certain drugs. Who are they kidding?? Of COURSE gov't researchers are gonna "cook the books" in these studies to get the desired result for their superiors. If they tell the truth, then the officials funding them will cut their budgets (if they were sensible, that is).

  • This country has become care provider to the world. Just look at Africa. Is it our responsibility to feed this people and dump billions of dollars in aid programs on them? It's just creating more dependence and causing their population to go up which in turn compounds the problems of the continent. This shit has got to end.

  • America does not have a primate population(well maybe it does). The disease(AIDS) jumped from primates to humans. Africa has the largest chimpanzee population. The jump from primates to humans was made in west Africa. Some of the African population in west Africa was either eating the chimpanzees or nailing them in the butt. Even more reason sub-Saharan Africa should be quarantined for the health and safety of the world. Africa is an out of control incubator of disease.

  • You're obviously another mindless drone of the black masses incapable of adapting and assimilating to western civilization. Do some goggling of some legitimate unbiased sources as to the first reported cases of AIDS. Did you know blacks themselves in Africa can prevent AIDS? The reason they can't prevent it is because many of them are incapable of responsibility. No one forces them to have unprotected sex.(the main means of transmission of the disease in Africa)

  • You don't know how to answer it fucktard because your a mindless drone. You set the tone of the discussion between me and you dumb fuck by calling me a stupid white person. Because you were born in Canada means nothing when it comes to western civ. Ask yourself this: can Africans do things like put a rubber over their dicks to prevent the spread of AIDS or do you have a conspiracy theory that the US government made a disease that causes total and complete mental paralysis in blacks?

  • Nice job, Jack! Love to see a conservative like yourself (although a paleocon and not a GOP hack, to begin with) rail against the idiotic Drug War. Prohibition solves nothing. I was at the National SSDP Conference in late Nov. with 3 of my fellow MU-SSDP officers, and it was pretty sweet.

  • With more freedom, the centralized state loses power and that can't happen. This is the mindset of the nanny statist.

  • Welfare needed reform but Clinton's reforms in Aug 96 were disastrous for the poor. Now that states handle it for themselves there is big difference in eligibility requirements. Too easy to get in some states, impossible to get in others.
