4 days ago i watched a video called diggy diggy ten hours which showed an animated girl with blonde hair in it.I was curious who it was and i started reading the comments and learned that it was someone named flandre scarlet.after hours of google searching and youtube videos i finaly found out about this touhou project thing.after whatching these youtube vids and reading some of the fan made stories i have grown to love touhou,and i want it to be an anime.thumbs up if you agree :)

There is a theory between Yukari Yakumo and Maribel Han. The basic idea of this theory is that when Maribel sleeps she dreams that she is Yukari and when Yukari sleeps she dreams she is Maribel. Neither of them would normally be awake at the same time, however there has been cases in which both have been awake at the same time as Yukari has been known to be awake during the day as well. Maribel is strangely able to cross the border into Gensokyo while dreaming.Some say Maribel IS Yukari.

@RimaViveElAnime No es un anime, en origen eran videojuegos muy sencillos hechos por un aficionado con gran cantidad de personajes. Como gustó, la gente se empezó a motivar y a hacer este tipo de animaciones y a desarrollar videojuegos mejor hechos que los primeros.

you can't watch 'this,' it's a fan video made based on a series of games generally known as Touhou. the games range from vertical shooters to mortal combat type fighters. the story is explained throughout those games and the fans have helped give shape to the story and characters. gotta say tho that the quality of this video is basically professional level. these guys are amazing.

@zomaru3 Not possible, Reimu's clan created the Hakurei Border in 1885. Honestly I have no clue what she's doing there... or what that dragon is. I know a lot about the Touhouverse, but I've never heard even a reference to a dragon...

@kiraina25 Actually I pretty sure it is, the dragon is the highest order of gods in gensokyo, the dragon was last scene during the creation of the great hakurei border. The border was created by Reimu's clan and Yukari (Or atleast suggested by Yukari, and the border was later reinforced by Youkai) . So then, that is one of reimu's ancestors (cue the PC-98 outfit), creating the border with Yukari's help, and the dragon are there watching over.

I read somewhere that the Dragon not only watched it, but also fixed the "mistakes" they did when creating the barrier (huge floods/thunderstorms).

Not sure about the "canocity" of that information though.

@wisefelipe I've never heard that anywhere. I know that the dragon statue in the human village can predict the weather/(Red-Weather) Inicidents....but that is about it. Youkai, did however, reinforce the border later on so maybe you got it confused and a little fanon tossed in?

@wisefelipe I think that was caused by the fact the dragon was there (it mentions in the article that when the dragon appears storms follow) and alot of yokai did not want there to be a barrier around gensokyo, so maybe they angered the dragon (by fighting), causing the storms, and floods, then the yokai's sages begged for forgiveness?

Did u read the whole thing? They say there that the dragon STOPPED the flood and storms, which is one of the reasons i's worshipped by both humans and youkai in Gensokyo.

The youkai were not happy about there being a barrier ,so they were probably fighting to get it torn down, that angered the dragon so caused the storm. When they promised to behave he stopped. If the floods were caused BY the border it would say in there, it doesn't so I have to assume that the border didn't cause it. Also, the dragon is worshipped because it can CREATE&DESTROY anything and everything.

I've seen them so often and they're even the protagonists in Touhoumon, but I've never found out their names. Maybe I'm just stupid and it's probably something obvious and I bet I've already heard their names somewhere, but I cannot remember. <.<

Some fans believe that they have some kind of relationship with Yukari and Reimu respectively, but of course it's all mere speculation at this point. If you want to learn more about them, you can just look them up in the touhou wiki or tvtropes if you're willing to.
